You’ve probably already noticed there is only one chapter this week. I took a vacation with my family, and while I’d hoped to find a little time to write, it didn’t work out that way. This, coupled with the fact that the story is transitioning into a different phase, made getting two chapters done too difficult. I will try and make it up to everyone next week.
The Independent Audio Awards took place yesterday. Shade’s First Rule was one of the finalists, and while it didn’t win, another book (Sacred Cat Island by Harmon Cooper) by our favorite narrator, Travis Baldree, did. Congratulations to Travis for being recognized for his outstanding performance, and to Harmon for having his audiobook’s quality recognized.
I’ve opened up chapters 18 and 19 to Root.
I’ve opened up chapters 20 and 21 to Harvester.
I’ve added chapter 22 to Step Master, Blapy’s Favorite, and Divine.
