I hope everyone is safe and healthy. Things here in the AFK household are the same as Wednesday's update, which is great, but it still feels like a three-hour version of Groundhog's Day. Haha. I keep thinking about how some animals can run with the herd minutes after birth, while humans, who eventually become the apex predator, are completely helpless for years. I guess that is the Universe balancing out its system. Lol.
I'm still a little unsure about these chapters. I think they'll stay. I'm trying to balance incredibly early foreshadowing without ruining the current story. I'll reevaluate when this section is done. These chapters did generate a cool (if short) fight scene and a view into how Ruwen is starting to look at things, which is important growth for him. Also, I love Ruwen's response when describing Rami and Sift. So there are definitely some things to love here.
For The Fourth Secret:
I opened up chapters 26 and 27 to Root.
I opened up chapters 28 to Harvester.
I added chapters 29 and 30 to Step Master, Blapy's Favorite, and Divine.
