Hi all!

I've always been a nerd. For the last couple of decades, every few years I'd build a new computer, or upgrade components with whatever I could afford. As I got older and had less time for games, I stopped doing that. Now, computers get used mostly for boring stuff.

This week, I finally bought myself a nice laptop. SSD, RTX card, 16gb ram, blah blah blah. It is the most powerful computer I've ever owned. I'm using it right now to type this, and it makes me happy. But it deserves better.

This new computer, the Ferrari of its kind, was put through its paces by me the night I got it. I promptly loaded a game I love Ascendancy, and conquered the galaxy. What is Ascendancy you ask? It is a game so old, it runs in dos box.

I hope your holiday weekend is restful. Maybe even as restful as the CPU of my new laptop. I plan on getting some extra writing in. Whatever you're doing, stay safe.

I opened up chapters 7 and 8 to Root.

I opened up chapters 9, 10, and 11 to Harvester.

I added chapters 12 and 13 to Step Master, Blapy's Favorite, and Divine.
