Added 2020-04-04 08:10:33 +0000 UTCHello everyone. I hope you are all healthy and safe. I'm doing well. although the snow has kept me indoors the last couple of days, which has given me a little cabin fever.
Some terminology I was using really bothered me, so I changed it. I've already made the changes in my draft, but won't update the chapters here. Basically instead of always calling the structure inside Ruwen's center an infinity ring, I just went ahead and called it what it is: a core. So while the shape is still an infinity ring, I'll reference it as his core. Related to this, instead of using the term Riptide Velocity, I will now use the phrase Core Velocity.
I also made some changes to what they see at the end of the tunnel (that is they see nothing now).
These chapters finish up the foundation I wanted to create for Ruwen's Harvesting going forward. I am concerned about my pacing, but I'm always concerned about that. The knowledge Ruwen has now will pay dividends for the rest of the series. Also, next week we will see if Sift was right when he said treasure would be found behind that waterfall. The littlest acts sometimes have the biggest consequences, as Sift will eventually realize. I'm so excited about it.
