2025-10-29 23:53:33 +0000 UTCI’m so hot and cold on Guadagnino. Loved bones and all and call by your name and challengers. But am very ambivalent about the rest of his filmography. The reviews for after the hunt are making me feel like it will probably be another one of his that I don’t love. He’s very inconsistent when it comes to quality. His good ones are great. His not so good ones are mostly just boring. I think this is why he tends to miss with Oscar. His filmography just doesn’t have enough quality. Also, how many Chalamet movies have they done now? He’s gotta be getting close to six timers club right? This, beautiful boy, men women and children, is it just those three? I know they’re gonna do a wonka episode eventually. He’s such a good actor. Hopefully this will be his year!
