And watch TUCKER, Joe. It's great. I saw it in theaters then brought it home on video to watch with my parents, thinking it would be good family watching. And it lead to a public argument with them that caused me to stop sharing anything with them. Great movie!!

Strong memories of seeing it in 1999 (immediately after seeing MAGNOLIA because I would do that sort of thing back then). Felt the same way: why watch this when I could watch a doc about Kaufman? I didn't expect the extra helping of love for AMADEUS (you really do need to see this, Joe, and it's not 4 hours long), REM, and Springsteen. This was a bigger joy than I had any reason to expect, and I'm a fan. "There are a lot of channels. Not anymore, bitch." is the best exchange ever and the Criterion 24/7 is the best app feature in the history of apps.
