art i've actually spent more than 30 minutes on

it's been annoying me for a long time that i actaully lost all patience to work on a piece for longer, so i'm actively trying to push myself to spend more time with my art and try to push it further. i know ruhsing through art is the cause of my lack of improvement the past year (besides my poor mental health and burnout lol) and part of the reason for this (and it pains me to say it) is webtoon.

i know a lot of webtoon creators have similar feelings and while i love working on the comic and keeping up with it, it does feel like i lost track of my main purpose as an artist, that is, to create good art and improve my technical skill. the comic does help me improve in certain ways by gaining mileage obviously, but it's a sort of unfocused, chaotic improvement which has led to me feeling lost with my art in many ways. so it's funny how while the comic is my main project at the moment and i love it a lot, it is also the source of most of my frustration haha

anyway, i redrew the market scene now that it's actually closer to canon lol. while the older piece is still kind of good, i'm glad i'm pushing my artsyle more towards a direction where it's easier to communicate subtle character interactions
