Obsidious Rehearsal

I wanted to give you a little insight into our rehearsal near Salzburg, Austria. This is where we usually rehearse with Obsidious. As I mentioned during the livestream, we played a festival show earlier this month in Italy.
Before any show or tour, we typically have just one day of rehearsal. In the video, you’re hearing only the room audio because we use in-ear monitors during our rehearsals. While you can mostly hear the drums and a bit of vocals, it still gives you a sense of what the rehearsal space looks like. Everyone’s really focused on nailing their parts, which is always the case when we come back together to play.
As for my setup, it’s pretty straightforward: I run my guitar into the Sennheiser wireless system, then into a volume pedal, and from there into the Quad Cortex. The signal then goes directly into the band’s splitter, which sends one signal to the FOH and the other to the in-ear monitor mixer. My setup hasn’t changed much since the last time I posted about it, so there’s nothing really new there, but I thought I’d share anyway.
