Daath - Behind the scenes - video shoot

I want to share a moment from my latest music video shoot. As you guys probably know, there is a new video out from my other band Daath.
It was an amazing experience meeting the whole team in person after all the work we've done together.
I feel really thankful to be part of such an amazing project.

It feels like a supergroup. Sean is one of the greatest singers I've ever worked with. Eyal is an amazing composer and guitarist and co-founder of the platforms Riffhard and URM academy. Krimh is an outstanding drummer and plays for Septic Flesh. David teaches bass at Berklee College of Music which I think is a dream job for any musician and educator. And Jesse (who is not in the video) composes and produces for Riot games, which is one of the biggest companies in the gaming industry. It is really incredible to see how all of these guys do their job very professionally. You don't see this very often as a musician tbh.

In the video you can see the hall where we shot the video. It was an intense day because we actually shot two videos on that day in two different locations. Do you guys have a band and shoot videos? it's like playing through the same song a thousand times as you would perform it on stage and it can be really exhausting. That's the final result: https://youtu.be/_GGuwRfeRa0?si=-iMQU8rHJLD6hDYa

yeah it is a question of money. And that's why label-deals still make sense in most cases because a label can provide either money or a professional team to produce such videos. And yes, it is a long way with a lot of ups and downs. thank you! really appreciate that! And part of my mission is also to share all of my experience knowledge about music and the industry so other people can learn from that and avoid the mistakes I did in the past ;)

Unfortunately we as a band never had the opportunity to shoot a professional video. During my active time there were very few bands who could afford a video shoot. Today it would be fun to just watch somebody else creating a vid (maybe Obsidious ;)) It must be a dream working with such great musicians. It's a long way, lots of hard work and you have to stay focused on your goals. Congrats! You are very fortunate!

Krimh is unreal. His swivel technique is awesome.
