GHK DXD Chapter 10 Summoning Complete

Shiraori lingered quietly near the far side of the throne room, her pale hands folded in front of her as her crimson, many-pupiled eyes drifted from one person to the next. She didn’t speak but her gaze was sharp, absorbing every gesture, every tone of voice, every little quirk of expression. Watching them bicker, laugh, and argue was like staring into a world she desperately wanted to understand as these were her new family.

‘They’re so… loud,’ She thought, her lips curving faintly at the edges. ‘But… warm. Maybe if I keep watching, I’ll learn how to belong here too.’

Every so often, her gaze would flicker back to Issei. The boy at the center of it all. Their summoner and husband who, for some strange reason, could read her silence. Each time she looked at him, her chest tightened in an unfamiliar, fluttering way that she quickly disguised by tugging at the hem of her sleeve.

On the opposite side of the room, Lala stood like a gothic statue come to life, her pale-blue skin almost glowing under the torchlight. Her head, balanced carefully in the crook of one arm, turned as she conversed with Evangeline and Priscilla.

“So, a vampire,” Lala intoned, her voice carrying a solemn, theatrical weight. “One who feeds on the blood of mortals.” Her golden eyes slid to Priscilla. “And you, a dragon… a beast of legend clad in flesh. Truly, fate has drawn together a curious congregation.”

Evangeline smirked, brushing a strand of blond hair behind her ear. “Hmph. You say that as though you’re not bizarre yourself, walking around like a headless puppet. A Dullahan, was it? Herald of death and all that nonsense?”

Lala straightened her posture, her scarf fluttering with unseen energy. “Not nonsense… destiny. To walk with death is to accept the truth of all things. Mortality cannot be denied.”

Priscilla, calm and composed, tilted her head in curiosity. “Even so, you carry yourself with dignity. I respect that. Few beings can face death without trembling.”

For the first time, Lala’s lips twitched into the faintest of smiles, though her tone remained grave. “Respect between monsters, then.”

A short distance away, the air was less somber. Kaguya, Nyaruko, and Henrietta had clustered near one of the pillars, their conversation lively if somewhat tense.

“So you are a princess?” Kaguya asked, her fan poised delicately near her face, crimson eyes gleaming with thinly veiled challenge. “From Tristain, was it? Hmph. How quaint. Do not expect me to bow to you, girl, like I said I too am royalty.”

Only for Nyaruko to groan as she heard this before. “Yes we know as if you don’t rub it in our faces every time.”

Henrietta blinked, as she saw the two girls start to bicker. Still, her diplomatic upbringing didn’t falter as she tried to calm them down. She dipped her head gracefully, teal eyes calm. “I would not presume such a thing. My crown is a burden, not a weapon. I seek only harmony here.”

Nyaruko leaned in with her trademark grin, practically bouncing on her heels. “Oooh You don’t have to accept this girl's attitude! But don’t worry, Henri-chan—I’ll protect you from scary ol’ Kaguya with my tentacles!”

“Stay back, you degenerate!” Kaguya snapped, flaring with indignant energy as Nyaruko giggled.

Henrietta exhaled softly, her composure strained but intact. ‘So this is… the household I’ve been bound to. Chaotic, but… strangely united. I must adapt quickly if I wish to keep pace.’

Meanwhile, by the wall, the two fallen angel maids observed in silence. Raynare leaned her shoulder against the cold stone, her violet eyes narrowed in thought. Kalawarna stood beside her, hands folded neatly at her waist, watching the newest arrivals with keen curiosity.

“So many new mistresses in such a short span,” Raynare murmured under her breath.

Kalawarna nodded, her tone calm but thoughtful. “It seems the Master’s burdens grow heavier with each summoning. Still… their temperaments vary. Some will be easy to serve. Others… less so.”

Raynare smirked faintly, her gaze flicking toward Issei at the center of the room. “He’ll need us more than ever. Whether the Master admits it or not.”

And at the center he stood—Hyoudou Issei, surrounded by women of every shape, race, and origin, each with their own quirks and demands. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously as he stared at the shimmering interface that only he could see, its glow casting faint light across his features.

He exhaled slowly, trying to steady his nerves. But deep down, his heart raced with equal parts terror and excitement. The throne room hushed as the girls noticed his hand rising again toward the summoning option.

“Darling…” Nyaruko’s voice dripped with dread. “Don’t you dare—”

“Husband,” Kaguya snapped sharply, snapping her fan closed. “Restrain yourself for once.”

Henrietta watched him cautiously, teal eyes shimmering with quiet worry. “Is he going to be summoning another girl?”

Priscilla’s golden-green eyes narrowed, her tone calm but edged. “If another comes, I will accept them. Issei.”

Evangeline smirked from her throne, blue eyes gleaming with malicious amusement. “Oh, do it. Bring me more entertainment, boy. Summon your next disaster.”

Issei took a breath, sweat prickling at his brow. His thumb hovered over the glowing Yes.

‘Here goes nothing…’ And with a single tap, the roulette wheel burst into existence once more, its clicking echoing like thunder through the throne room as everyone held their breath.

The roulette wheel’s thunderous clicking slowed, each tick echoing like the beating of a drum. Everyone that could see it in the throne room leaned forward, eyes wide with anticipation—or dread—depending on their temperament.

Until the glowing pointer crept to a halt.

[Roll 8: Furina De Fontaine has been summoned.]

A blinding dazzle of light erupted in the center of the throne room. The girls shielded their eyes while Issei squinted, heart pounding in his chest.

When the light faded, a new figure stood poised as if she had just stepped onto a grand stage.

She was striking, having delicate fair skin and hair as pale as moonlight. Her eyes demanded attention immediately: one light blue with a darker blue pupil, the other reversed with a violet outer ring, both with droplet-shaped pupils that gleamed like jewels under torchlight. Her outfit only magnified her theatrical presence, a navy suit-like ensemble adorned with ribbons, gemmed ornaments, and layers of fabric that trailed dramatically behind her. A tilted hat crowned her head. Everything about her screamed that she belonged on stage performing.

The throne room hung in silence, breathless. Then, Furina’s eyes fluttered open fully, the faintest sparkle glimmering within them as the system’s knowledge filled her mind.

And then she exploded into words.

“Aha! Citizens of this… most peculiar court!” She spread her arms wide, her hat tilting precariously but never falling, her tone rich with bravado. “You stand graced—nay, blessed—by the one and only Furina De Fontaine! Archon, performer, idol of the masses, embodiment of justice itself! Applaud, for your dreary little world has just gained its most radiant star!”

Issei nearly toppled backward. “W-Woah, she’s loud!”

Nyaruko, who until now prided herself as the most dramatic in the room, blinked in astonishment. Then her grin widened mischievously. “Darling, she’s like me but with extra pep! I love her already!”

Kaguya’s crimson eyes narrowed. “Another one intoxicated by her own voice. This household is turning into a circus.”

Henrietta, standing gracefully nearby, blinked at Furina’s entrance, caught between awe and secondhand embarrassment. “She… certainly has a presence.”

Furina ignored the comments, spinning in place as her trailing ribbons swirled. “Oh, I see it in your eyes already—the awe, the curiosity, the simmering jealousy!” She pointed dramatically at Issei, her gloves gleaming in the torchlight. “And you! My so-called summoner and husband, you shall address me properly. Titles, accolades, reverence—I require nothing less!”

Issei, sweat beading down his forehead, raised his hands nervously. “Uh, h-hi? I’m Hyoudou Issei. N-Nice to meet you, Furina…”

Furina De Fontaine!” She corrected instantly, stomping a heeled shoe against the stone floor. “Do not butcher the grandeur of my name with such casual tones!”

Evangeline, lounging on her throne with her cheek in her palm, let out a low chuckle. “Well, well. A pompous actress dropped right into our laps. This should be entertaining.”

Priscilla observed quietly, her golden-green eyes calm but probing. “She is human… but her aura is strange. Not hostile, but volatile. Like a river struggling against its banks.”

Lala, still holding her own head with eerie composure, tilted it ever so slightly. “Her voice drowns the silence like a storm. A herald of drama, perhaps?”

Shiraori, quiet in the corner, stared with her wide, unnatural eyes. Her fingers twitched faintly, and inside her head a small thought surfaced. ‘Too loud.’

Meanwhile, Raynare and Kalawarna exchanged another wary glance by the wall.

“She’s going to be… a handful,” Kalawarna murmured.

Raynare smirked faintly. “At least the Master finally summoned someone who makes Nyaruko look tame.”

Issei, still under the intense point of Furina’s theatrics, rubbed the back of his neck. ‘Hopefully we can get along.’

Furina, of course, caught the hesitation in his tone and gasped dramatically. “Such insolence! To doubt the Archon of Fontaine herself—why, the audacity! But fret not, dearest husband, for I am magnanimous. I shall forgive your ignorance… for now!” She flourished her arms again as if waiting for applause.

Nyaruko instantly started clapping. “Encore! Encore!”

Issei groaned, burying his face in his hands. ‘What have I done this time…?’

[Summoning Complete: Furina De Fontaine. Love Meter: 45%]

Then Kaguya stepped forward with her crimson eyes narrowing with imperial disdain. “I have no idea what an Archon is? But don’t believe you can parade your titles like cheap trinkets at a market.”

The words cut like a blade, and the air grew tense.

Furina gasped as though struck, one hand pressing to her chest while the other trembled skyward. “How dare you diminish the grandeur of my station! I am Furina De Fontaine, beloved by the people, goddess of spectacle, jewel of justice! You—” She jabbed a gloved finger at Kaguya “—are but a haughty woman out of her depth!”

Gasps rang through the throne room.

Nyaruko clapped her hands gleefully like a child at a puppet show. “Ohhh, fight! Fight! Catty girl showdown!”

Kaguya’s aura flared. “Your theatrics are wasted here. In my presence, your hollow bravado is nothing to me.”

Furina stomped her heel.“Do not tempt me, little empress, lest I drown this chamber in the tides of Fontaine’s glory!”

Evangeline, lounging on her throne, burst into mocking laughter. “BAHAHA! Oh, this is rich. Two egos colliding, and neither willing to yield. I almost hope you tear each other apart.”

Henrietta, pale but composed, lifted her hands in a futile attempt at diplomacy. “Please, ladies, there is no need for such hostility. We are all bound here together—surely unity is preferable—”

But Nyaruko leaned in gleefully, stage-whispering far too loudly: “Don’t stop them, Henri-chan! This is peak drama! Kaguya’s about to pop a vein!”

“Silence, worm!” Kaguya snapped, her aura flaring toward Nyaruko—who only stuck out her tongue and skipped behind Issei for cover.

Priscilla watched quietly and released a sigh, her golden-green eyes cool and thoughtful. “Conflict so soon after meeting… perhaps it's inevitable with so many prideful characters gathered here.”

Shiraori remained in the corner, staring blankly at Furina’s dramatics. She blinked once, then tilted her head faintly. Inside, her thoughts rippled softly. ‘She really is too loud. But it is very amusing.’

Meanwhile, Raynare leaned close to Kalawarna, her voice a hushed murmur. “Should we break it off.”

Kalawarna, seeing the drama, quickly voiced her answer. "Absolutely not.”

Issei, watching the drama unfold and saw how it was escalating, rubbed the back of his head nervously. Sweat beaded down his forehead as his eyes darted from Furina’s dramatic posturing to Kaguya’s burning glare, then to Nyaruko who was egging both sides on like a sports announcer.

‘Crap, crap, crap… they’re gonna fight for real. If I step in, I feel like I’ll just get roasted alive by both of them. What do I even—’ His gaze drifted upward, to the still-glowing summoning screen  hovering in front of him. A terrible, reckless thought crossed his mind. ‘…Or I could just ignore this and press the button again.’

His finger twitched.

“Darling, again!” Nyaruko squeaked, peeking out from behind him.

“Husband, how many until you're satisfied." Kaguya snapped, her crimson eyes flashing.

Furina threw an arm across her chest, chin tilted high as though preparing for applause. “Summon whoever you like! None shall overshadow this Furina De Fontaine!”

Issei gulped, his thumb hovering over the digital Yes. His heart pounded, half in panic, half in reckless excitement. And with a nervous laugh, he tapped the button.

The roulette wheel, once more, spun violently as the throne room filled with its deafening click-click-click. The girls groaned, cried out, or braced themselves as another blinding light swelled in the chamber.

Finally, the wheel stopped.

[Roll 9: Run Elsie Jewelria has been summoned.]

A burst of radiant light exploded in the center of the summoning circle, washing the throne room in brilliance. When it faded, a girl stood there.

She had hot pink eyes that shimmered with playful confidence with long light-green hair that tumbled down her back, two distinct tufts sticking out at the top like delicate antennae. Her body was slender yet curvy in all the right places, wrapped in a school uniform that looked out of place among gothic stone walls.

Issei blinked rapidly, his head tilting. ‘She… looks normal? Like, really normal. She looks like a cute high school girl. Compared to the dragons, vampires, headless knights, and spider-eyed girls? She looks like some transfer student from another school…’

Run’s eyes fluttered open, and just as the system fed her the knowledge of her situation, her gaze locked immediately onto Issei. Her lips curved into a mischievous smile.

And before anyone could react—she moved.

Her steps were swift, confident. Issei’s heart barely had time to leap into his throat before she closed the distance, rising on her toes.

And kissed him.

“MMMM?!” Issei’s eyes bulged, his entire body stiffening as her lips pressed against his. Heat exploded in his face, his mind short-circuiting. ‘Wha—wha—my—my first kiss?!’

Gasps rang through the throne room.

Nyaruko’s shriek was first, nearly deafening. “EHHHH! D-DARLING?! SHE—SHE STOLE IT?!”

Kaguya froze mid-step, her fan trembling in her fingers as her crimson eyes went wide. “H-He… He has not kissed me yet—!”

Henrietta’s hands clasped over her mouth, her teal eyes wide with shock. “A bold… bold move…”

Evangeline burst into raucous laughter, doubling over on her throne. “BAHAHA! Oh, this is priceless! He looks like a deer caught in a spotlight!”

Priscilla’s golden-green eyes narrowed faintly, though her calm tone betrayed the tightness in her grip. “That… was so sudden.”

Shiraori’s ruby-red pupils dilated slightly, her expression unreadable, but inside her chest an odd pang of… something… flickered. ‘She… just did that?’

Even the maids reacted—Raynare’s lips parted in disbelief, while Kalawarna raised a hand to her forehead with a sigh.

Run finally pulled back, her hot pink eyes gleaming mischievously as she licked her lips, letting her tongue flick out in a mocking display toward the gathered women.

“He’s mine,” She declared boldly, her voice ringing with smug certainty. “Don’t even think of laying claim before me!”

The throne room erupted into chaos.

“You little—!” Nyaruko lunged forward, crowbar already materializing in her hands. “I’ll show you who’s number one around here!”

“Hmph!” Kaguya’s aura flared, her aura flaring in anger. “An insolent upstart dares to claim supremacy in front of me? Know your place, girl!”

Henrietta stepped back, her face flushed. “To… kiss so brazenly upon meeting… how scandalous!”

Even Lala tilted her head, holding her head in her hands as her lips parted in a gloomy murmur. “Such boldness… such audacity. To kiss before declaring one’s vows…”

Issei, meanwhile, was frozen in place, his face beet red as he stammered. “M-My… my first kiss… s-stolen… just like that?!” His hands hovered awkwardly, his mind reeling with too many emotions—shock, embarrassment, and a strange flutter in his chest.

Run turned back to him, her expression softening only slightly. “It was inevitable. You’re my husband now, aren’t you? Then of course I should claim you first.”

The declaration only stoked the fury of the others.

“I have yet to kiss him!” Kaguya snapped, her voice ringing with indignation.

“Darling was supposed to be mine!” Nyaruko wailed, tears streaming down her cheeks. “We were supposed to have our first kiss under the stars!”

Evangeline smirked, eyes glittering with sadistic amusement. “My, my. He’s barely holding himself together. At this rate, he’ll collapse before dessert.”

Priscilla, composed as ever, inclined her head. “It seems you value boldness. But remember, strength and devotion matter more than a fleeting gesture.”

As the chaos simmered, Run folded her arms proudly, flicking her long green hair back. “Well, since we’re all going to be living together, I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Run Elsie Jewelria. Alien royalty, thank you very much.” She gestured at herself with smug confidence.

“An Alien…?” Issei blinked, his blush refusing to fade.

Run smirked. “That’s right. I’m not from this world and I am out of this world!”

“Ya well that’s nothing new because news flash, I’m also an alien.” Nyaruko responded angrily.

“So you're just like me?” Her pink eyes darted to Nyaruko, who bristled instantly.

“Don’t you dare lump yourself in with me!” Nyaruko shouted. “I’m way cuter, way stronger, and I didn’t steal a kiss like some shameless—”

Run stuck her tongue out again, winking playfully. “Jealous~?”

Kaguya scoffed, her aura simmering. “So she is both an alien and a princess? An odd mirror of Nyaruko and myself. Tch. This will not do.”

Henrietta, though visibly unsettled, managed a graceful smile. “Then… it appears we share similar burdens as well, Lady Run. I am also royalty.”

Run glanced at her, her expression softening for just a moment. “Perhaps. But I intend to enjoy the privileges of mine.”

Issei, still trying to recover from the whirlwind of emotions, rubbed his temple. ‘Great. Just what I needed—another alien and princess.’

[Summoning Complete: Run Elsie Jewelria. Love Meter: 85%]

“Eighty-five?!” Issei said out loud, eyes bugging out. His finger twitched against the glowing interface. W-Wait, why is hers so high already? She just got here! I didn’t even do anything! She just… just stole my kiss and now she’s… this attached?

Run smirked knowingly, her arms folded as she tossed her green hair back with a playful flick. “See? Fate has already declared me number one.”

Nyaruko shrieked, her crowbar raised high in indignation. “Well that’s nothing, my love meter is at 100! Darling belongs to me!”

Kaguya fumed as her crimson eyes burned holes into Run and Nyaruko. “Hmph! True devotion is measured by discipline and grace.”

Henrietta, cheeks still flushed from the earlier scandal, tried her best to compose herself, though her voice wavered. “Still… eighty-five? That is… shockingly high.”

Issei waved his hands frantically. “O-Okay, okay! Just calm down, alright? There’s only two more rolls left in this whole mess, and then I’m done! I promise!”

The room fell quiet for a moment. Then came a chorus of voices—disbelieving, annoyed, and exasperated.

“Two more?!” Nyaruko stomped her foot. “Darling, you’re already drowning in women!”

“Husband…” Kaguya’s tone was sharp as a blade. “This lack of restraint will ruin you one day.”

Even Priscilla frowned slightly, her golden-green eyes narrowing. “Your body can only endure so much, Issei.”

Evangeline smirked from her throne, resting her chin in her palm. “Do it. I’m enjoying this train wreck far too much to see it end now.”

Issei sighed, dragging a hand down his face. ‘Why does this always happen to me?’ Still, his finger pressed the icon.

The roulette wheel spun into existence once more, filling the throne room with its thunderous click-click-click. Sparks flew from the rim as names blurred past, every girl watching with either dread or eager anticipation. Slowly, the wheel slowed, each tick echoing like a heartbeat until finally it stopped.

[Roll 10: Karura Kure has been summoned.]

The blinding light filled the room again. When it faded, a girl stood there—beautiful in a sharp, striking way. She looked young, her frame deceptively slender, but every line of her body spoke of training and control. Her long black hair framed her face, bangs hanging low, two longer strands brushing her cheeks. Her nose was dainty, lips full, and her eyes—black sclera with yellow pupils—were predatory, unblinking. She wore a dark-purple sailor uniform with her legs wrapped tightly in bandages.

Issei blinked, swallowing nervously as her gaze locked onto him. ‘O-Okay… she looks… amazingly beautiful to the same standards compared to the others. No extra eyes, no floating head, no dramatic speeches… maybe this one’ll actually be—’

As the information entered into her mind, her eyes narrowed. A glare like daggers at Issei.

“Uh…” Issei rubbed the back of his neck nervously. “H-Hi there? My name’s Issei. Welcome to—”

She moved before he could finish.

Her foot snapped forward, a blur of motion. Issei barely yelped in time as her heel whipped past his cheek. He stumbled backward, hands flailing. “W-What the hell?!”

Karura advanced without a word, her fists flashing in sharp, precise strikes. Elbows, knees, kicks—all delivered with the fluid rhythm of an experienced martial artist.

The throne room erupted in chaos.

“Darling!” Nyaruko cried, rushing forward.

“Stand aside!” Priscilla commanded, her golden-green aura flaring as she prepared to intervene.

“Stop this at once!” Run added, her hot-pink eyes flashing with fury.

But just as the three were about to leap in, a sharp voice rang out.

“Stand down.” Evangeline, lounging on her throne, raised a single pale hand. A sly smirk tugged at her lips. “Let her continue. This is… entertaining.”

Nyaruko whirled toward her, eyes blazing. “Entertaining?! She’s trying to murder my Darling!”

Run stomped her foot in protest. “This isn’t fair! She’s attacking him unprovoked!”

Priscilla’s golden-green eyes flickered in anger. “If he is harmed, Evangeline—”

But the vampire cut them off with a sharp laugh. “Don’t be fools. She’s not trying to kill him. Look closely.”

The three froze, glancing back toward the fight.

Issei ducked under a spinning kick, his back slamming against the stone pillar. His heart thundered in his chest as he raised his arms defensively. ‘Crap, crap, crap! She’s fast—why is she so fast?!’

They realized Evangeline was right. None of the blows had struck fatally—her strikes aimed to test him, not end him. The precision was too deliberate and restrained.

Evangeline’s smirk widened. “She’s only using martial arts. Strangely enough, this makes her the most normal one here. Think of it as training for our boy.”

Issei barely had time to process the words before Karura lunged again, her fist slamming toward his chest. He twisted, barely dodging as the air rushed from his lungs. ‘Normal?! This doesn’t feel normal at all! I’m gonna die here!’

The girls at the sidelines bristled, still furious but unable to ignore the truth in Evangeline’s words.

Kaguya’s eyes narrowed. “Tch. At least she has discipline, unlike the others.”

Henrietta pressed a hand to her chest, her face pale. “Still, such violence upon the first meeting… how unnerving.”

Shiraori tilted her head, her expression unreadable, though inside her thoughts they judged her skills. ‘Her movements are clean and efficient.’

Meanwhile, Raynare leaned close to Kalawarna, her voice hushed. “I almost feel bad for the Master.”

At the center, Issei stumbled, barely deflecting a sharp palm strike that nearly clipped his jaw. His arms throbbed, his chest burned, but somehow—he was still standing.

“W-Wait! Time out! Can’t we just… talk about this?!”

Karura said nothing, her glare unyielding as she spun into another kick.

Karura pressed forward without hesitation, her fists flying in a barrage of rapid punches, each one aimed with razor precision. Issei blocked the first few, the impact jolting up his arms, then ducked under a snapping kick that would’ve taken his head off if he were a second slower.

“W-Whoa! Time out! Personal space, please!” He yelped, hopping backward.

But Karura didn’t relent. Her glare burned holes into him, and her body moved with mechanical discipline. Her palm shot forward, her elbow cut across, her knee nearly cracked against his ribs.

‘She’s not slowing down—she’s getting faster!’ Issei thought in a panic, sweat flying from his forehead as he barely twisted out of range. ‘Crap, I can’t keep this up… she’s reading me too easily!’

A few blows slipped through his guard. A jab clipped his jaw, snapping his head to the side. A low kick swept his shin, sending pain shooting up his leg. His teeth clenched as he stumbled, his arms shaking.

Around them, the throne room buzzed with the voices of onlookers.

Henrietta pressed her hand to her mouth, teal eyes wide with awe. “I did not know… regular people could move with such strength and speed.”

Run smirked brightly, her hot-pink eyes glittering. “Of course he can. That’s my husband—strong and handsome! Show her who’s boss, darling~!”

Kaguya’s lips tightened behind her fan, her crimson eyes narrowed. “Hmph. It is only martial arts. Still… I admit, her skills are admirable.”

Even Priscilla’s golden-green gaze glimmered faintly with interest. “Her aura is calm. No malice, no bloodlust… only discipline. This is unusual.”

But Issei felt none of that admiration. His chest burned, his arms shook, and his breath came ragged. His instincts screamed. ‘If I don’t do something now, she’s going to flatten me!’

He thrust his hand forward, summoning desperately. “Twice Critical!”

With a flash of red light, the familiar gauntlet materialized, covering his left hand in sleek crimson scales. A surge of energy pulsed through his veins, doubling his strength and speed in an instant.

Issei’s body quickly felt lighter and faster. The next punch Karura threw came at incredible speed, but this time his hand shot up, deflecting it with ease. His foot slid across the stone floor, carrying him out of range before her spinning kick could connect.

‘I can finally keep up and see her attacks.’

Karura’s eyes narrowed, her strikes accelerating further. But now, Issei’s world has slowed. He ducked low, weaving between her punches, then blocked with his forearm, twisting her wrist just enough to redirect her momentum. His heart pounded, but with every exchange, he learned her rhythm—her timing, her footwork, her habits.

Finally, when her elbow shot toward his ribs, Issei pivoted. His arm coiled around hers, his body twisting, and in one smooth motion, he pulled her into a lock. Karura froze, her arm pinned, her body restrained firmly against him.

“H-Hey!” Issei shouted, chest heaving, his face flushed with effort. “I don’t get it—why are you attacking me? We’re not enemies! So… please, just calm down already!”

The girls leaned forward, tense, expecting fury, or at least defiance.

But Karura’s expression shifted. For the first time, she smiled. “…Good.” Her voice was low, but firm, filled with approval. “You are strong enough.”

Issei blinked, completely thrown off. “…Wait, what?”

Her golden pupils gleamed with thrill as her lips curled wider. “I wanted to test you. To see if you were worthy of being my husband. And you are. You stopped me.”

He stood frozen, still holding her, utterly confused. ‘That’s… what this was about? She was testing me?!’

And then—she dropped the bomb. “Now that I know you're strong… we should start making babies right away.”

The throne room exploded.

“EEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!” Issei shrieked, his whole face turning crimson.

Nyaruko’s jaw dropped to the floor. “Wha—EXCUSE ME?! Darling’s lips haven’t even touched mine yet, and you’re already skipping to kids?!”

Kaguya’s aura flared like wildfire. “H-H-H-HAVE YOU NO SHAME?! To suggest such vulgarity so casually—!”

Henrietta flushed bright red, her composure cracking as she stumbled back a step. “B-Babies?! Upon first meeting?! That is… utterly scandalous!”

Run placed her hands on her hips, smugly flicking her hair. “Well, at least she admits he’s a worthy husband. Though honestly—babies? Tch. Some of us want a little romance first.”

Evangeline howled with laughter, clutching her stomach. “BAHAHAHAHA! Oh, this is too good! I like her! Bold, shameless, and straight to the point—delightful!”

Priscilla tilted her head, her golden eyes narrowing. “…Direct. Too direct. But… her devotion is sincere.”

Even Shiraori blinked, her eerie expression shifting just slightly as she thought. ‘She wants… children? So quickly?’

“Marvalous. Truly a great show!” Furina meanwhile applauded the performance as it turned into quite the show.

Issei, meanwhile, was still frozen in place, Karura’s words echoing endlessly in his head. ‘M-Making babies?! W-Wait, does she even know what that means? Of course she does! She’s not blushing, she’s serious—oh no oh no oh no—

And then the familiar chime rang in his head.

[Summoning Complete: Karura Kure. Love Meter: 90%]

His jaw dropped. “N-Ninety?! Already?!”

—-----------------------------

The tension from Karura’s bold declaration still lingered in the air like static. But slowly, the energy shifted as the others began stepping forward, one by one, to formally greet the newest member of the household.

Karura, still flushed from the thrill of battle, blinked as she took in the sheer variety of people before her.

Priscilla bowed her head gracefully, her long white hair cascading around her shoulders. “I am Priscilla, a dragon… and one of Issei’s mates. Your strength is admirable. You have my respect.”

Karura stiffened at the word “dragon,” her yellow pupils widening faintly. “A… dragon?” she muttered, clearly thrown off.

Evangeline smirked, tilting her chin proudly. “And I am Evangeline, a vampire. You’ll learn quickly that our little family is full of monsters and misfits.”

Karura’s lips parted in disbelief. ‘A vampire, too? What kind of madhouse is this?’

But nothing prepared her for Lala, who stepped forward casually… and with one smooth motion, lifted her head clean off her shoulders.

“This is who I am,” Lala intoned solemnly, holding her head like a porcelain doll. “I am a Dullahan. It is natural for my head to live apart from my body.”

Karura froze, her jaw slack as her entire body went rigid. “…She just… took her head off.”

Nyaruko bounced forward, twirling her crowbar like a baton. “Yup! And I’m Nyaruko—your friendly neighborhood cosmic horror, straight out of Lovecraft! Don’t worry, you’ll love me! Everyone does~”

Run folded her arms smugly beside her. “She’s exaggerating. I’m Run Elsie Jewelria—alien royalty. And unlike some people here, I actually claimed my husband.” Her lips curved into a teasing grin as she flicked her hair.

Kaguya glared daggers at Run before turning her regal gaze on Karura. “I am Kaguya, a true royal and the true wife of Hyoudou Issei. Do not mistake my politeness for weakness.”

Henrietta offered a gentle bow, her teal eyes soft but cautious. “I am Henrietta de Tristain, princess of my homeland. Though our circumstances are strange, I hope we can get along peacefully.”

Karura looked from one girl to the next, her thoughts reeling. ‘A headless knight, a dragon, a vampire, an alien, an alien princess, and another princess… This… this isn’t a household. This is a menagerie of impossibilities.’

Raynare and Kalawarna lingered by the wall, bowing slightly in their maid attire. “We serve the Master and his family,” Raynare said softly, while Kalawarna added with a faint smile, “You’ll get used to the madness.”

Shiraori, quiet in the corner, said nothing. Her crimson spider-like eyes stared at Karura with a weight that made her shiver.

Issei clapped his hands nervously, trying to cut through the awkwardness. “O-Okay! Great introductions, everyone! Now… There's just one left. My last roll.”

A collective groan echoed through the throne room, but to his surprise, none of them protested this time.

“…Very well,” Kaguya muttered. “Finish your reckless spree.”

“Ughh, fine Darling, just… please don’t summon another so soon,.” Nyaruko whined.

Issei exhaled deeply, rubbing the back of his neck. ‘Alright. Last one.’ The system screen appeared and Issei quickly pressed the summoning option.

The roulette wheel appeared once more, glowing with radiant colors. The sound of its clicking filled the air, each tick making his stomach twist tighter. Finally, it slowed… and stopped.

[Roll 11: Yukina has been summoned.]

The blinding light engulfed the chamber, softer this time, shimmering like water droplets scattering through sunlight. As it faded, a small figure emerged.

She was short, delicate, with long greenish-cyan hair tied into a low ponytail by a fancy red ribbon. Her eyes were a striking crimson, glistening even in the dim torchlight. She wore a light-blue kimono, its sleeves trailing gracefully, bound at the waist by a darker blue obi. Her appearance was gentle, fragile almost, but there was an air of quiet resilience about her.

Yukina blinked, taking in the vast throne room. Then her hands trembled. Memories surged—Gonzo’s tyrannical face, the chains of imprisonment, the crushing weight of despair. And now… freedom as she realized that she was finally out of that horrible place.

Tears welled in her crimson eyes, spilling down her cheeks as crystalline droplets fell, clinking softly against the stone floor.

Gasps rippled through the room.

“What’s falling?!” Nyaruko exclaimed, crouching to snatch up one of the crystals.

Run bent down as well, turning one in her fingers. “It’s… beautiful. Like a gem.”

Priscilla tilted her head, her golden eyes narrowing. “They are her tears… but hardened and crystallized. Strange.”

Kaguya’s gaze softened despite herself. “…How curious. Even her sorrow turns to jewels.”

Issei, however, didn’t even glance at the crystals. His focus was locked entirely on the trembling girl before him. Without hesitation, he crossed the distance and gently placed his arms around her, pulling her into a careful hug.

“Hey,” He whispered softly, his voice uncharacteristically calm. “It’s okay now. You’re safe. I don’t know what happened to you before… but you don’t have to cry anymore. Everything’s going to be okay.”

Yukina’s small frame shuddered against him, her tears still falling as her hands slowly clutched at his shirt.

The other girls stared, stunned into silence. For the older summons, it was a familiar display of Issei’s reckless kindness. But for the newer ones—Furina, Run, Karura, Henrietta, Shiraori and even Lala—it was the first time they had seen it so raw.

Run’s lips parted slightly, her hot-pink eyes softening. “…He didn’t even hesitate.”

Furina, who had been puffing herself up with bravado since her arrival, felt her throat tighten. “…He didn’t even look at the jewels. He ignored the spectacle… and went straight to her.”

Even Evangeline, perched lazily on her throne, raised an eyebrow. Her smirk faltered, just for a moment, replaced with something unreadable.

Shiraori tilted her head faintly. ‘He’s really kind… even to strangers. No wonder they gather around him.’

The throne room was silent but for Yukina’s quiet sobs and the soft chime of crystalline tears striking stone.

Issei held her a little tighter, his own heart pounding as he whispered again: “It’s okay. You’re not alone anymore.”

The crystalline sound of Yukina’s tears against the stone floor finally quieted, her trembling breath easing as Issei’s warmth steadied her. After a long silence, she gently pulled away from his arms, wiping at her eyes with the sleeve of her kimono.

Her voice was soft, shy, yet clear enough to reach everyone.  “…My name is Yukina. I am… a Yuki-onna.”

The words drifted like a cold breeze through the throne room.

A ripple of surprise spread across the gathered women.

“A Yuki-onna?!” Nyaruko gasped, eyes widening with delight. “Darling, your harem just keeps getting cooler!” She snorted at her own joke.

Kaguya looked at her with curiosity in her eyes. “So… a snow spirit. The balance of monsters in this household grows stronger.”

Lala, still holding her head casually at her side, blinked with open curiosity. “Her kind… I’ve read of them in old tales, but to see one with my own eyes. Fascinating.”

The chime of the system interrupted, the glowing text appearing before Issei’s eyes:

[Summoning Complete: Yukina. Love Meter: 60%]

Issei let out a slow breath, rubbing the back of his head. ‘She seems very kind, even if she’s shy. Better than someone trying to punch me to death right out of the gate…’

He turned toward the group, squaring his shoulders. “Okay, I guess… I should properly introduce myself too. Especially for those of you who just got here.”

All eyes shifted to him. He swallowed nervously, feeling the weight of so many gazes.

“My name’s Hyoudou Issei. I’m… just a regular high school student. A human.” He scratched his cheek awkwardly, a sheepish grin tugging at his lips. “And… well… my dream has always been to become a Harem King.”

A chorus of groans, gasps, and sharp exclamations erupted.

“Darling, really?!” Nyaruko shouted, clinging to his arm. “That’s not a dream—that’s just your hormones on parade!”

Kaguya meanwhile gave a glare. “To announce such shamelessness so boldly… You truly are a fool of a husband.”

Evangeline smirked from her throne, blue eyes glimmering. “At least he’s honest. I’ll give him that.”

Run clasped her hands together, her pink eyes sparkling. “Well, I for one think it’s wonderful. Because it means I get to compete for the position of number one wife!” She leaned against Issei, grinning slyly.

Henrietta furrowed her brow, her elegant composure cracking just slightly. “But… what sort of relationship does that leave for the rest of us? Are we truly to be equals… or rivals in name only?”

Issei raised both hands quickly. “H-Hey, don’t worry! I-I’ll treat everyone with respect! I mean, I didn’t expect things to turn out like this, but—”

He trailed off, glancing at the faint shimmer of the system still hovering nearby. His voice softened. “Maybe I should explain how all of you were summoned. One day, somehow… I caught the attention of Shub-Niggurath, the Mother of a Thousand Young, I think that was her title. She’s the one who gave me the Harem Gacha System and somehow you all have been summoned to be part of my harem.”

“Shub-Niggurath?” Lala repeated, tilting her head. “Who—or what—is that?”

Nyaruko giggled, twirling her crowbar. “Ooooh That’s a big name in my line of work. Trust me, Darling’s caught the eye of one of the biggest eldritch bosses in existence. Guess even cosmic horrors can’t resist his pervy honesty!”

Issei flushed, groaning. “Nyaruko! Don’t say it like that!”

Furina, who had been silent for once, crossed her arms tightly. Her eyes softened with an uncharacteristic sigh. ‘An Archon in Fontaine, chained by duty… and now this? A human blessed—or cursed—by an eldritch god. Truly, my life has taken a turn… but perhaps, a freeing one.’

Yukina shifted nervously, her fingers twisting into her sleeves. “…Then… that means… you are truly… my husband?” Her cheeks flushed a pale pink against her snow-white complexion. The thought embarrassed her deeply, but it also filled her with a quiet relief. She had escaped one prison only to be thrust into a marriage—yet somehow, it didn’t feel like chains.

Karura, meanwhile, crossed her arms, her glare softening into something sharper—focused. “Hmph. If he has such backing… then the only question is when will we begin making children. The faster, the better.”

“WHAT?!” Issei’s face went scarlet, steam practically pouring from his ears.

“Babies already?!” Nyaruko cried, sparks of jealousy flying from her. “Not fair! I’m supposed to be first!”

Kaguya nearly fainted from outrage. “S-Such vulgarity! In my presence no less!”

Evangeline cackled with delight, her laughter echoing across the chamber. “Ahaha! I do so love the blunt ones!”

Shiraori, meanwhile, tilted her head, spiderlike eyes glimmering faintly as her thoughts scattered. ‘Shub-Niggurath… nests… children… husband… I should find a quiet place to build a web.’

The throne room became a swirl of voices, some flustered, some competitive, others thoughtful. Yet through it all, Issei stood in the center, rubbing his neck with a nervous laugh, caught between pride and panic.

‘Man,’ he thought, staring at the group of monsters, royals, and eccentrics now bound to him. ‘My life really did turn into a harem anime… and somehow, it’s even crazier than I ever dreamed.’

Finally done. Tell me what you think and if I made a mistake. To be honest , did I miss something or write the personality or character wrong since some of these characters are foreign to me and had to do a quick search. Hopefully it turned all right. Like always this commission was brought to you by Deus Ex Mima.
