From the moment it is born, a flame burns at the tip of Charmander’s tail. This flame is a direct reflection of its life force. If it burns brightly, Charmander is healthy and full of energy, but if it weakens, it signals poor health. Should the flame ever go out, Charmander’s life would come to an end. The flame also mirrors its emotions—wavering gently when it is happy, burning fiercely when enraged, and occasionally crackling with a sound that can only be heard in silence. Even newborn Charmander have flames, though their inexperience with fire sometimes causes accidental burns. Charmander prefers hot environments. When it rains, steam rises from its tail flame, though a healthy one can keep its fire burning even in damp weather. Its fiery nature and resilience make Charmander a spirited companion, with its tail flame both a symbol of vitality and a beacon of determination.

My Thoughts

My first starter, the pokemon that started it all. The fire hazard that would burn my house down if I ever owned one, just look at it burning the ground without a care in the world and it would burn me because I wouldn’t learn my lesson of not hugging the dangerous reptile. It absolutely sucked against Brock and Misty. But would I use it again knowing the disadvantage? Yes. There's just something satisfying about burning your opponent with your pet. Fire Tail sounds like a proper pokemon move and it’s weird we don’t have it in the game. I would find it adorable watching it wag its tail hoping to burn its opponent, when it can just breath fucking fire. Apparently it’s a Pokemon owned by Team Rocket and its card looks pretty evil as it burns the air without a care. But nah most are too chill and lovable. The anime episode where it was abandoned made me so angry as I really wanted to hit the idiot for leaving it for not being strong. Like can you imagine abandoning the freaking lizard that breathes fire and can turn into a dragon. It has an attack called Steady Firebreathing, do you know what that means, Charmander is a character from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
