Added 2023-04-24 22:00:03 +0000 UTCOkay, so... new big bad vampire has arrived! He's called Spike and he's British, sarcastic and much more interesting than the anointed one and the master! Yay! He's still bad though and I'm looking forward to when Buffy finally offs this chap. His girlfriend is pretty interesting. I don't know much about her yet, but I have to say they sure do seem in love which is at least kinda nice 🤣

2023-04-25 01:59:11 +0000 UTCI think it's in regards to them arriving in Sunnydale and then seeming to be settling in for the time being. It's probably intentionally ambiguous at the start as to whether it's a home that he's coming back to or one that he's creating but it seems to be the latter. A bit later on he mentions the Hellmouth "putting colour in (Dru's) cheeks." He seems to think that he'll be able to heal her injuries since he makes reference to a mob in Prague that attacked her. The whole thing could probably be explained a little better but if we really zero in on every line of dialogue it's all in there in this episode.

Spike seems a little more likeable than The Master but it feels wrong to have an enemy that I kind of like? I still want Buffy to kick his butt though 😂

I can't answer a lot of the questions you had during the episode due to spoilers, but rest assured they will most defbe answered as you go through the series :)

Spike and Dru, Juliette😆😉 An episode that I think a lot of us were waiting for you to get to and a favourite, I suspect, of a lot of fans. Definitely turns things on their ear. No more Anointed, a couple of charismatic new villains, and it sounds like maybe Snyder and the police know a bit more about the existence of the supernatural than we might have suspected. Lots of action, lots of comedy and snappy one-liners, and some heartfelt moments between some of our characters. This one is definitely way, way up there in my own personal rankings and I'm happy that it looks like you enjoyed it also🙂 See you in the next one!
