I think the plans depend on the villains. Some like death traps, some just want to keep the damsels as trophies, others want to humiliate them, or keep them as bondage slaves

The more villain like captors go for death traps or murder, but what about the more passionate villains? Are they making capturing them as an art? Or are they playing the long game waiting for the heroes to give themselves to them?
