A Shot in the Dark: Chapter 4 Official Release

If you played the Chapter 4 BETA on Patreon or SubscribeStar already, the only difference with the final version is Chapter 4 achievements have been added, along with some minor bug fixes.
You can now download the final version of Chapter 4 with the achievements on both Patreon (including via OppaiMan.com integration) and SubscribeStar:

Chapter 5 is already in development and estimated to release later in 2024. We are also working on translations for A Shot in the Dark to multiple languages. (Interested in helping improve translations? Reach out to us on Discord!) Stay tuned for more updates!

Heya! Yep, we announced it on Patreon and SS when we initially released Chapter 4 BETA. It was unavoidable as the new GUI gutted and reshaped a lot of the codebase and there were some other foundational changes we made during that time since it was going to be an issue anyways. If you haven't already, definitely don't try to force old saves in. We suggest a new playthrough or to use the "Entry Points" from the Main Menu to jump right in!

2024-04-25 03:03:53 +0000 UTCThat's awesome! Just a heads up, the game is not optimized for the Steam Deck yet. One of our Mods & Testers said some functionality doesn't work as expected. We do plan on optimizing fully for Steam Deck to get that green check mark as a priority sometime after we get translations up-to-date and pushed out in the future.
