Splitting Firewood
Added 2025-02-20 00:01:32 +0000 UTCThis time last year, Michael was meant to have major surgery. This surgery was to remove the cancer in his rectum. They were going to remove his rectum and anus. He was to have a stoma made and be on a bag for the rest of his life.
It would be a long recovery, and winter would be upon us during that time.
Michael always cut and split the wood by hand. He wouldn't be able to do that and I definitely couldn't. So we invested in a log splitter. It actually makes splitting firewood lots of fun. It is also a lot quicker and easier.
