Milking Flopsy
Added 2024-12-18 11:38:15 +0000 UTCWell we decided it was time to ween Flopsy's baby boy off her as we want to sell him soon. He is a pretty big boy and really doesn't need to be sucking teat anymore.
Flopsy makes a lot of milk. So we decided to milk her to help relieve her and to reduce the risk of mastitis.
We have both milked cows before. So how hard could a goat be? It was a bit funny. We got there though eventually. Michael did better than me. If we were going to milk goats for milk and cheese we would definitely buy a pumping machine. We would be milking all day otherwise. π€£π
