Chapter 1 should be out in a few days, give or take a bit in the slight chaos of releasing Book 8. I'm planning to get one out this week and I'll try to make it happen.
After that, it should be 2 (or perhaps 3) chapters a week for Aster Fall 9 until it's done, which I think will be around January.
This should be a fun book. Here's a quick blurb:

Book 9 of Guardian of Aster Fall!
Sam is the only Astral Titan left in the Void they once ruled. If necessary, he will remind the High Council of the reason why.

I was worried for a second that 8 was going to end it. While I enjoy the story I do wish that there was more suspense. While I know there's meant to be some here and there, Sam always comes across as immutable. Like he can't lose and while I enjoy the journey for what it is, I wouldn't mind the concept of Sam lolosing only to escape and return to win occoccasionally. I wouldn't even mind a bit of character death, as long as we're talking about expendables. It makes me sound like a bit of hypocrite asking for this and that as long as it doesn't break my heart. Anyways, regardless thanks for the story and the journey.
