It's Been A Long While

Hey everybody,

It's hard to believe my last post was back in June. You must be wondering why there hasn't been any update since. I'm not the kinda person to sugarcoat things, so I'll cut to the chase.

Patreon has been bugging me for my personal information to confirm that I am of age to do NSFW content. While I can assure everyone that I'm waaaay above 18 years old, I'm not comfortable disclosing the documents that Patreon is asking for verification, which borders on doxxing myself.

Patreon has since mentioned they will offer alternative forms of verification, so I've been waiting on them to provide more options. Unfortunately, that hasn't stopped their persistent notifications. And now, Patreon has issued a statement that they may block payouts until I can confirm my age.

While all this is happening, I woke up one morning with a slight pain in my drawing hand. It started hurting whenever I twisted it around, but I ignored it and continued drawing. Over a few days, the pain had gotten worse, and I had to start taking more breaks in between drawing. Thanks to that, a lot of artworks were left unfinished.

These two issues have left me depressed over the last few months. I wasn't sure what to do about it all, so I finally sought help with close friends and professionals. It may not be much, but I may have found a way around these two problems. So I've decided to finally share this with you.

But before that, please know, from the bottom of my heart, I am truly sorry for not saying anything about this sooner. To everybody who has considered discontinuing your pledges or those who have already done so, I completely understand your thoughts and decision. It's only fair that you feel this way thanks to my lack of activity on this site. Thank you for your generosity. I know I haven't been a good content creator these past few months and I don't deserve the kind support you've shown me, but I want to make it up to you from here on out.
I am also truly grateful to everybody who has stayed on despite everything. Thank you for having so much faith in me ❤️ You guys are incredible, and without you, I would've called it quits ages ago. I've found a new path to move forward, and having you on this journey means the world to me.
So what's gonna happen?

I've decided to set up a Discord server and connect it to the Strawberry Tier real soon. Patrons will gain access to NSFW channels, where all new and existing NSFW art will be available in one convenient place. I'm hoping to get the Discord running in late October 2023. So please bear with me while I figure this out.

NSFW art will continue to be uploaded onto Patreon for now until alternatives to their age verification process are made known to Creators. If the alternative options don't work out, all NSFW art will be migrated from Patreon to Discord, and only SFW art will remain on the site. I will then submit an appeal to relabel this Patreon as SFW while patrons continue to access "Additional Content" on Discord.

I have yet to reach out to a representative from Patreon regarding this matter. There is a chance this plan might fall flat on its face, so please consider it as a temporary solution. If you have any suggestions on how to go about this in a better way, I'm more than happy to receive feedback in the comments down below.

As for my busted drawing hand, I've started doing some physio therapy and have made a slow and steady recovery. I'm comfortable enough to draw regularly now, albeit with more care and attention to my drawing techniques to make sure I do no strain my hand. So please look forward to more juicy art very soon 🥰

Since we're in Spoopy Month 👻 now, I will be releasing lotsa spicy art with a Halloween theme. I also plan to put up a poll for which characters you'd like to see in spicy/horror costumes. Feel free to put in ideas in the comments of the upcoming poll as well. I really want to make up for all art missing in the past couple of months.

Whoa, that was long. Once again, thank you so much for being here for me. It means absolutely everything that you've held on this long while I was gone and I hope there'll be many more years ahead for us. I promise this won't ever happen again. Even if it did, I'll never leave you guys hanging dry for so long. You'll definitely be the first to know the moment it happens. I will definitely be making up for all the time lost between us, so here's looking forward to a more exciting future ❤️
