Added 2021-10-19 19:07:24 +0000 UTCSo, i'm organizing stuff about my character base and i'm in need of some opinions. the image above i made using custom art from the internet, the naked base is a free tool of the internet which i dont recall the name and the toad thing is from time fantasy which i'm using as reference.
This in the photo, explaining a bit is: 1 direction idle, 1 direction dying, 4 direction walk, 4 direction magic, 4 direction sword and bow. together with a base for a Side battle view for turn based RPGs, this is the initial structure of a type of generator i'm working on, all characters will be made using this, every piece of cloth will be inside it and so, any character and npc will have the same animations which is like a hundred frames.
What you guys think of it? Its good? perhaps i forgot something?

Its a good advice, yet doing both will not give me too much trouble and i want to give some love to Turn based as well. on this case someone that wants to make a turn based RPG can use the same assets as the one that want to make a action one.

2021-10-20 14:21:26 +0000 UTCIn my opinion it doesn’t make sense to combine sideview battlers and 4 directional attacks. Either you go for side view battles or for 4 direction action battles in a game. So you can scrap one of them and focus on the remaining one.
