Post Schedule

(Hey Luke)

In the event that any others join the Patreon, I wanted to clarify the posting schedule for the different tiers because I realized when I was going to schedule the next chapters, that it was more confusing than I thought.

I wanted to explain my planned release schedule here in a public post so you can see exactly what you'll be getting access to and at what point. Without knowing my release speed, I didn't think about how knowing you're getting 1, 2, or 3 weeks ahead of RR isn't the clearest concept. Sorry about that!

Week 1 on RR: (day 1 was 7 chapters) and then I'll release 1 per day. So week 1 will be 14 chapters.
Week 2 on RR: Ends with 21 chapters.
Week 3 on RR: 24-25 chapters.
Week 4 on RR 24-28 or 29 chapters, etc.

(I may still end up releasing chapters faster, but I know this is what I can confidently promise for now)

I've never tried publishing books a chapter at a time. I know how fast I can usually write, and that's 3,000-5,000 words per day. Usually, I even sneak out in the mornings on weekends and get something like 1,500-3,000 words after my coffee. So... in theory, I should be able to pump out almost a chapter a day (they're usually 1,500-2,500 words) kind of forever? But I am also trying not to over-promise. I was writing in a cave to get the first half or so of this book done, and things are going to be a little different when I have random tasks like... writing this post, or setting up author admin stuff or messing with Photoshop for covers, etc.

So I'm giving myself these first two weeks of RR release at one chapter a day as a kind of test run. Once chapter 21 is on RR, I'll come back and update this post with the schedule of the minimum number of chapters you can expect for the next 3 weeks.

Awesome, that is a very rapid pace of posting, just make sure to not burn yourself out. I have seen a bunch of authors here on Patreon pump out a lot of chapters almost daily, and then go dark for a while as they push themselves too hard.

Sounds good
