March Projects Reveal (+ A Bit of April)

Hey friends,

As much as I want to keep at least a couple secrets about our current projects, sometimes artists crave sharing WIPs and asking for your opinions before it's too late to make any changes. As such, I'm left with no choice but to reveal March models.

Starting off with the last poll winner, Samus Aran (Metroid) by our returning guest artist Szymon Szpaczek, the sculptor behind the notorios Lovemace 60KK project (which you should totally erase from your memory if you haven't already, because, apparently, it was too good for this world). The new model will be based on a redesigned suit from Hary Istiyoso, and I have no concerns whatsoever about the quality.

As for the other poll winner, Triss Merigold (The Witcher), our team member Victoria has been toiling away for the past couple weeks. Last year, she delivered a book version of young Ciri, which was generally received quite well despite our fears. Therefore, we decided to repeat our stunt and imagine a book version of Triss as well. I realize it's not exactly what people had in mind when voting for the character, but I'd like to believe we aren't known for taking the beaten path for the sake of profit.

Next, we've got Mita (MiSide) by our team member Milana (YoruNoAme). We've been mercilessly exploiting Milana for the past couple months with the endless stream of renders, so I think she deserves a little break and an easier project for a change.

Of course, we couldn't leave you without a new model from KAI, and this time they chose to sculpt Invisible Woman Malice (Marvel Rivals). I don't really know what else to say. Given the recent streak of amazing models from KAI, I'm sure you don't need me to convince you to eagerly await the next one.

Lastly, we are happy to welcome a new guest artist to spice things up. Arago Ice, a professional sculptor from the AAA videogame industry, is going to show off his skills by creating Henry (Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2). It's been a while since we've seen a new face, and we are excited to see what he can cook!

That's it for March projects, but we've got more coming in April!

First of all, Daria Lozynina, the master of fur, is coming back to us for yet another model, Amaterasu (Okami). We've seen Amaterasu pretty high up in the last poll, and there wasn't even a second thought about contacting Daria about it. We have even prepared a few concepts for you to choose from, so don't miss the next post about it!

And before I wrap up, there's the matter of the next 3 months Loyalty Reward. Historically, we use LR as an excuse to sculpt original characters from our Unbreadable web comic (available in our Discord, if you're interested). March will be the last month when we offer Rum Baba, which means we need to start working on the next model. A thought occured to me a few months ago: Alex Gray's sculpting style was practically born for PONGOJ's drawing style from our web comic. So I went to Alex, showed him the female agent, and he immediately said "YESSS!!!!11". We shook hands right then and there, and he's been eager to share how it's going ever since. By the way, the agent has a name already, but I'm keeping it a secret for now to avoid spoiling it for those 10 fans of Unbreadable.
