October Models Reveal

Hey friends,

As part of our new release schedule, we are ready to announce October models earlier than usual.

Haru (Dorohedoro), TBD October 5th. Elena has returned from her two months long vacation a couple weeks ago and has been working on that model ever since. Being a huge Dorohedoro fan, it's a personal project that she originally wanted to release for Halloween last year, but I stepped in and asked her to create Rebecca instead. Thus, the model has been abandoned for an entire year and now it will finally see the light of day. To be perfectly frank, we don't exactly have any illusions about popularity of a side character from a relatively niche manga who didn't even make it into the anime adaptation. But as I mentioned on several occasions already, some projects are done for the sake of the artists, to give them an opportunity to enjoy their work to the fullest. So hey, for those of you who wanted Haru from Persona 5, we already have Haru at home! ^_~

Kaine (Nier: Replicant), TBD October 15th. Our latest poll winner has a bit of a funny story. Before we launched the poll, Victoria was trying to find the right character for her next project, and "thicc" was her main requirement. I recommended Kaine and practically one hour later she appeared in the suggestion channel, as if to back my words. I pleaded Milana to put Kaine on the poll just to see if she'd raise some interest so we could make a decision. To her question "What if she wins?" I assurred Milana that there was no chance of this happening. Well... yeah... thanks, guys! Luckily, I'm not afraid to admit my mistakes. At least now we know there is indeed a demand for her! And this is why the poll winner is being sculpted by Victoria even though the suggestions have been picked by Milana. Which brings us to the last character...

Kaga (Azur Lane), TBD October 25th. Seeing as how we unintendedly snatched the poll winner from Milana, she had to pick another model. Luckily, she has been eyeing Kaga for a while now, those tails are too mesmerising to pass up. And also the stuff of nightmares to cut and assemble, but that's clearly a problem of future us. So I guess we'll be looking towards another kitsune model next month, much to the delight of everyone who voted for her!
