Waifu Showdown 0.2.3

Hello, everyone, it's finally time for the new update of Waifu Showdown. Let's not delay it any longer and take a look at what we've got in the new update.

This update brings us all the unreleased features from the previous update and makes enemy AI a little bit more competitive again, almost like it was before the introduction of the new combat system. The opponent may decide to use available action against the player, advance into a different position or skip a turn.

That means that from now on all the options are working, for the most part at least. Also, the usage of certain options is allowed only if the required conditions are met. For example, neither player or opponent can't advance into the next position or use actions if they are not in a dominating position.

Overall, the usage of available options is determined by the current situation on the mat.

That being said makes it the smallest update of Waifu Showdown so far. Unfortunately, I could not finish the new UI for this update because of the large amount of bugs I had to deal with trying to make the new combat system fully functional. I failed on that as well, by the way, which is why currently I do not recjmmend going full circle on the grab positions because of the bugs you will surely face.

You will encounter some other bugs as well, because of the coding mess I made. But the good thing is that I finally understand how to organize the system properly, so I will make a fixed version as soon as I can. And while I do that, please let me know what bugs you've encountered after playing the new update, maybe I've forgot or haven't noticed some while playtesting.

UPDATE: Most of the bugs caused by the new menu have been fixed, if you noticed something that looks like it doesn't work as intended - message me on Patreon about it.
