Hello, everyone, as the update is forging right around the corner, let's talk about some upcoming features for the new update.
New Combat System and Transition Animations
This feature took way too long to make but it's finally here. Let's take a look at the small preview so I can briefly explain as much stuff as I can.
From now on the player-opponent interactions are gonna be different. In the previous update we had a starting idle state that looked like a kneeling position with a direct transition to all other animations. The current system doesn't look realistic even for a little bit and this is gonna change in the upcoming update.
What you see now is a demonstration of all new idle states in addition to the basic kneeling idle state excluding all the new reversal animations and other animations. But even now their positioning has to be adjusted to achieve some good transitional visual effect.
Each idle state will get its own set of reversals and animations, which means that the moves that require a pinning position to be started will no longer be able to be started from the kneeling position and so on.
And this is pretty much everything for this preview. The biggest feature of the update is almost done and only a few things remain like small fixes to the animations and probably changes to the gameplay for the new mechanics.
