Early Look: Queen's Gambit 👑♟️✨with steps!

Here’s a sneak-peek of my newest drawing! Beth Harmon, from the series "Queen's Gambit"!👑♟️ Her face is so fascinating and exotic! I'm sure the fans will perceive some of the meaning behind this, but still, I would like to tell you about it: When she took her pills, she would play chess in her mind, and looked at it upside down. That's the reason for why I put the pieces like this. Also, while I was doing my research, I found out that "Queens Gambit" is a movement where begins by moving a pawn, and that's why I put it in the middle of the crown. The other pawn above it, means the opposite realities displayed in the chessboard: hers, and the one of the rival.
- Now, back to the drawing, I included some steps for you💛, to see how it came together! In other news, thanks to everyone for participating in the recent poll about the inspiration for the next Real-Time video! Which, by the way, had the option "B" as a winner! I'm super excited to see how this Kalisa will look like, so I'll be in the process of doing her~
