To answer your Sesame Street question, his name is Count Von Count, but he has been known as The Count since his creation. He was pitched as the count when he was first created. The reason for it was an old myth that if you dump I think it's rice or sugar in front of a vamp they have to count it and you can get away while it's doing that. Honestly that's a myth that goes towards a lot of supernatural I've heard the same thing about some fae.
