2025-03-01 12:16:59 +0000 UTCYeah man if you want to watch the fillers, go ahead. I personally don't watch the reactions to most of them or I skim through them. I think fillers dilute the experience but that's my personal preference. So if it improves *your* experience then keep doing them. One of the main reasons people don't speak highly of this arc is that although it's fun, it's sandwiched between two amazing sagas. So many people skip this when they rewatch the whole thing. But it's still one of the most fun sagas to watch people react to because of all the jokes. But this bathing scene in particular makes a lot of people uncomfortable because Nami is literally being sexually assaulted and the show just treats it as a joke and sexualizes her further, which makes it very tone deaf if you think about it. And afaik all the Nami fan service stuff is overblown in the anime (I don't read the manga so I don't know for sure), so it's not all Oda.
