Blog: Updates + 100 Patrons!

The number of patrons on this Patreon accounts has a bit of fluctuation. In a day or two, a handful will leave, and a handful will join. Folks who leave for a while come back. So I try not to give too much weight to things like subscriber numbers.

But.

Today? I have 100 patrons, and that’s a really good feeling.

I want to take this opportunity to, once again, thank each and every one of you. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or you’ve just joined yesterday, every one of you has contributed to the continued success of the Patreon. You all help motivate me to continue writing and to continue to grow as a writer. You certainly reap the rewards in that.

It’s been a while since I provided some updates, so I thought I’d hit you with a few tidbits about up and coming things:

• I’ve been working overtime lately on building a big backlog of stories that are ready to go. It’s been pretty productive and I’m excited to show you some of the stories that have come out of these sessions over the next few weeks.
• A Beautiful Place Out in the Country is getting closer to its conclusion, with only a few more chapters to go. There may be a little gap of time between the conclusion of that story and the next weekly serialized story available at all tiers - but more is definitely coming.
• A few months ago (around the time I hit 50 patrons), I mentioned working on a newly edited and “remastered” version of my lengthy story The Loft, that was featured on Tumblr a few years back. I’m still working on that, though it slipped a little on my priorities list. But it's still happening!
• I secured the domain www.quietlyhumiliated.com! Right now, it’s just directing to the Patreon page, but I’m sure I’ll find a better use for it sooner or later.
• In the past, I’ve run voting on new stories you’d like to see. While I like the idea of audience participation, I just wasn’t crazy about how it was being executed. So I decided to shake it up a little bit and try it again. Starting next week, there’s going to be a series of daily polls - each of them voting on just an aspect of a new story. One day you’ll be voting for the gender of the protagonist. The next day you might be voting for how the poor sap gets humiliated. And at the end of the week, I’ll take the poll answers with the highest votes and I’ll make a story with those specifications. This would be for Tier 3 patrons, I think (but I reserve the right to change my mind about that).

Lastly, I’ve been holding onto an Instagram account and a Twitter account for QH that I haven’t used much yet. Is that the kind of thing y’all are into? I’d likely be using both to communicate updates, new stories or just sharing thoughts or new content. If you use either of these services, why don’t you give me a follow? The more followers I have, the more likely I am to actually use these services…

Oh wait! One more thing. Hey, do you use Discord? I’ve seen some other ABDL communities using it, and I’m not opposed to setting up a QH Discord if there’s enough interested people. Whether it's for talking about the stories here, writing tips and advice, or just general diaper chat, I’m open to setting one up if the interest is there.
