I’m backkkk + updates

Yall idk why they've randomly uploaded one episode to TC, there’s been no discussion of relaunch date and the five FP eps that are meant to go with it aren’t even done like. I’ve sent an email and am trying to get to the bottom of it. I had no idea it was even up until someone messaged me on tumblr about it. All I can think is that I have a new noob editor and they’ve just misunderstood things despite me being really fucking clear about the schedule going forward, but whatever. The last few months have been a bit of a mess with them with the hiatus etc.

anyway, I’m back from my US trip and am currently at my parents trying to recoup a bit before the five hr drive home (I’ve slept about 4 hours total in the last 72 and maybe 5hrs a night for the last week because my sister snores and she went on the trip with me so I’m dying a bit). I’ll wait to see what the editor comes back with, but my plan for the next two weeks was to write an ep script a day and work on merch for tbub until tbub mid November, then get back to drawing the eps just to ease myself back in. So yall will be getting scripts and other things in the meantime.

US trip - loved checking out Salem but actually enjoyed Gettysburg more as it was a bit less commercialised and focused more on the history and ghost stories which is what I go to places for 😂 it was prob my fault for visiting Salem during Halloween, and I love Halloween, but even the Peabody museum only had a tiny witch trials exhibit. Def a great place for buying Salem merch though (aside from a few newage witchcraft stores that was mostly what they had, and yes I got some good stuff ha). In Gettysburg we stayed in an amazing b&b (the Doubleday Inn) that you had to walk next to the battlefields to get to from town after doing the night ghost hunts and that had a good spooky vibe, and I’ve alway been more of a small town gorl so loved all the historical buildings and info dotted over the town. Also felt super safe to walk around since we weren’t driving. Only thing is there’s no Ubers or taxis so getting out was actually an issue, but randomly managed to chat to a museum volunteer who said he used to do airport runs for people and convinced him to take us 😂 he only worked there two hours a week and fate brought us to him I’m sure of it 😂 travel was pretty stress free other than that (except Orlando airport, every time I go it’s like ppls first day on earth, fuck that place).

The Ringos was fun, it was good to see people I hadn’t seen since NYCC a few years ago. We all got massive totes of comics as party favors, but we were hand luggage only so I kept a few of my favs and luckily found a used comic shop down the block and donated the rest.
