Lil Projects Update

Heyoooo, here's just a little projection for the next year or so, letting you know what I'm currently working on and what I'm planning!:

• The Croaking

Webtoon's kinda thrown a wrench in my outline for TC as they're saying they'll only renew TC for 60 eps for season 4 instead of the usual 90. While it's great they're letting me do s4, I now have to change some plot things around as i probably won't be able to take all the time i'd like in pacing for certain scenes as I now need to make sure everything gets wrapped up properly in time for the ending. I'll obviously do my best to hopefully make it all turn out in a satisfying conclusion, it mostly just means I can't show as many of the small bits and now have extra work condensing it, but i guess that's Hollywood, baby. I think I'll still pitch them some new projects afterwards, but with the media surrounding the nature of the new contracts they're offering, I'm not sure if I'll even be able to continue to work with them and may need to look into other avenues (which is also more stress haha).

• Sonder

  Planning on getting the vol.2 book done by Thoughtbubble this November, still have have 30 pages or so to do so who knows but I'm really making an effort to do it lol.

• Crosswires

  Slowly coming along in preproduction, I'm planning on doing a short comic featuring two side characters just to finalise the comic's style, and using that comic as a lil bonus comic at the end of book 1. Would like to get it started in the next few months.

• Unannounced Novel 

  (I know I don't actually have the time but hear me out lol). I've outlined the book and written the first three chapters of the first draft, the title will be announced when I'm closer to finishing the full first draft I think. Will probably turn it into a graphic novel after obvs.

• Unannounced Wild Swimming Supernatural Comic

  Still in preproduction, sorting out character designs/names and working on a plot outline. This will be more of an average length comic and not the behemoth that TC is ha. Title drop coming once designs are sorted.

• Steal Comic (On the Backburner)

  Revisited the plot and have changed the outline, but don't have the time to work on it currently.

• Goldenfall (On the Backburner)

  Probably scrapped, I don't have the time or brainpower to work on this currently and don't think I'll continue it tbh.

• These Liminal Spaces (On the Backburner)

  Mostly merging this with the new wildswimming comic so this is probably scrapped.

I'm also playing around with the idea of a TC novel series, which would allow me to tighten things up and explore the world a bit more, but it's tbd if my brain will let me revisit the story once the comic is over of if I'll need a break haha.

I've also started a new lil embroidery business that's more of an outdoorsy brand based in the Lake District where I live which I'm planning on selling products for at local farmer's markets, as my current MegJMakes store is more comic-based and wouldn't translate to normies well haha.

Yes this is probably too much, but what's new haha. Probably just panicking a bit and trying to come up with contingency plans for the loss of webtoon income sooner than I was planning lolol.
