2024-08-02 15:42:27 +0000 UTCI feel like you should not do history of trunks atleast until episode 38. There is also one joke that will not make sense until ep 41, so I do recommend delaying that reaction.

2024-08-01 22:05:54 +0000 UTCPart of me feels like translation errors are a long-winded version of not caring enough to do something right, but maybe that's just my opinion and I should cut 'em more slack. It isn't as bad as some of FromSoftware's translation mix-ups and I forgive those guys for friggin everything.

2024-08-01 21:59:12 +0000 UTCIt's more of a translation thing, not that they didn't care. Japanese has a catch all word that just means artificial humans and they just translated that into Android, and because english doesn't have the catch all word that bit is lost in translation.

2024-08-01 20:18:04 +0000 UTCNotable changes: In the original show Goku escaped Namek on one of the Ginyu's pods. The aliens nursed him back to health and taught him Instant Transmission (without feeding him their sick). The medicine that Goku got from Trunks is a treatment for a heart virus that Goku will catch, thus he's actually supposed to take it once he notices symptoms. Bonus driving episode: Chi-Chi makes Goku and Piccolo go to driving school. Goku is terrible at driving, and Piccolo is actually being very careful. Unfortunately, their competitive nature leads to them racing and breaking all the traffic laws. A school bus full of kids is knocked off a cliff by falling rubble, and our heroes save the kids by destroying all the falling rubble and carrying the bus back to safety. Goku and Piccolo fail their driving test, but the instructors wish they could fly like them. Chi-Chi later faints from disappointment. Piccolo looks cool in civilian clothes (that apparently came from Goku's closet). Best filler episode, no contest. "Cat Loves Food": In the Funimation Dub, there's a scene where Yamcha sings this little ditty "from a cat food commercial" when Puar is drinking a yummy drink and it's very random. In DBZ:A, Yamcha wrote the song himself because he needed the money. Be on the lookout for different versions of the song sneakily showing up ;)
