The voice acting is for the most part better in the original version. Not just the voices themselves, which is mostly about preferences, but also the emotion and delivery. But one of the problems with dubs is that they take some liberties in the translation, sometimes out of necessity. Most of the time it's non-consequential differences but they change minor tidbits here and there and kinda ruin character interactions and/or jokes, or even change some lines to be completely different. So in a way it mostly boils down to not getting the full experience intended by the creators.

2024-07-15 16:44:17 +0000 UTCTo answer your wing question it's kinda Yes and No. I don't think it's fully explained in the anime but in the manga the lore is expanded on in an SBS which is pretty much Oda answering questions, and putting in little side stories that expand the lore. The Coby and Little Buggy stories are some of the only SBS stories that got animated.
