R: (surprised) but last time -

F: it wont be like last time.

Scra moves to ask a question but ky puts a hand on his leg, shaking his head slightly.

C: I’m an expert at orienteering, I’ll have you know. I know exactly where we are at any given moment.

R: what about this moment, where you had us land so you could do “a bit of triangulation”.

C: (points) there’s a village that way, it’s just big enough that we’ll be forgettable should people interact with us. moreso because only a few of us will be going on the supply run, and we won’t be causing a commotion this time.

R: hey, Ky’s incognito now so there won’t be -

C: the Redguard stays here, regardless. I’m not taking any chances.

S: that’s -

K: it’s fine, I’ll stay.

S: I’ll stay too.

R:...looks like it’s just us, then. let’s get going before it’s dark.

R: (that was her being patient before?) (farrah snorts)

R: maybe we should -

F: im not hiding my wing. im not ashamed of it. they’ll just assume its some kind of capitol tech.

R: i didn’t say -

F: then don’t. (walk for a bit) …how do you feel? being back here.

R: …It’s been a few years. we both…look different. no ones expecting to see us here. hopefully that makes us safe enough.

F: we should’ve stayed at the camp.

R: ha, Ky’s still too suspicious at the moment, and those boys needed some time to themselves. they’ll thank me later.

F: you’re trying to set them up? really, you??

R: just because we - nevermind. the boys just need a push, is all. then it’s up to them to not be total idiots and try figure something out. Now that all of Ky’s lying and stuff is out in the open, things are a bit more…attainable. if Scra forgives him, of course.

F: do you forgive him?

R: i can hardly talk, i lied to them both, too. If we manage to get through all this unscathed and not in jail for the rest of our lives, it could be a chance at a new beginning for all of us.

F: you want that, with them?

R: yeah. they’re my friends, and I’m kinda excited for us all to be on the same level and see where our friendship can go.

F: so you’ll tell them, then. about you. us.

R: …yeah. i will. i owe them that. but man, if i ain’t gonna put it off for as long as possible.

F: you’re the worst.

R: (smiles down) yeah, i know. (walks off) but some things are too hard to talk about. now let’s hurry this up, who knows what trouble the boys can get into while we’re gone.
