Lil Monthly update~

Just a lil update to let y'all know what's been going on and the upcoming stuff I'm working on -

Personal

Last week my desktop motherboard died as I was working on ep 200, and just as everything for the vol.2 kickstarter was due, so basically the exact worst time it could've happened (figures). The hard drive was thankfully salvageable so I managed to copy over the files I needed and get things finished on my ancient laptop, and hopefully the new motherboard will be arriving this week and I can get things sorted and back on track. That'll teach me for not backing up files regularly (but we all know I'll never learn ha).

Also, as some of you know, my fiancé and I broke up so I'm back living with my parents the last few months while I get things sorted. I've been traveling the UK trying to figure out where to live, and think I've settled on somewhere, so will be hopefully starting the house hunting process in a few months - wish me luck!

News

The kickstarter for vol.2 is set to launch June 13th!

I've been working hard for months getting everything ready for it, and I'm hoping to make it even better than the first now that I have some experience with rewards etc. It'll feature exclusive kickstarter-only merch, prints, plush, dust jackets, pins, t-shirts + more, as well as the only way to get a commission from me. I'll make a formal announcement when it launches!

I'll also be attending Thoughtbubble comicon this November hopefully, let me know if any of your are planning on going!

On a more frustrating (and purposefully vague) note, I'll no longer be posting page sketches and will instead substitute with the script for that week's episode. It can't be helped and is what it is, and I apologize to those of you who enjoyed them. 

Once the Kickstarter is up and running and my computer's fixed I'll be going back to the content on here I've been neglecting, like Thirsty Thursdays . Feel free to comment with anything else you'd be interested in seeing. I'm looking to do a bit of an overhaul of the rewards on here but need to slowly implement them until I find somewhere to live and get settled ha. (Random house reno series anyone? lmao)

Projects

In lieu of being unable to do too much with the TC characters other than pictures, I'll be looking to redevelop my Crosswires comic into something that definitely isn't TC and has nothing to do with TC and just so happens to sort of look like them but that's because I just like those character design tropes. I'll be asking for your opinions on designs/plot along the way and make it a more interactive production process that we can all have a bit of fun with (and yes it's an 18+ comic).

I'm still slowly working on Sonder but those pages are more detailed and take longer in general. I'm hoping to get the second book done by Thoughtbubble this year in November, but with everything a bit turbulent at the moment who knows.
