H: ah, yes, of course. im afraid we’ve had no word on whether shes coming back. she has no family to contact as im sure you know, being friends and all, so we’re waiting to hear from her.
L: and none of you are…concerned that shes missing? or that her crow and osprey friends are, too? or three of our teachers? or that Del was missing for months, and no ones asked him where he’s been? or that one of your students is wanted by the government for poisoning his roommate -
