K: (sneers) i just ran a small-scale border patrol of a sea-region. a position acquired purely from nepotism, while attempting to get as far away from my family as possible.

Interesting that the Director gave him a special pass to die his secondaries at the academy... Since she asked if he'd re-die them it sounds like she may have known the meaning...?
