Luffy is definitely still going to the Grandline after they get Nami. He didn't want the log book because he doesn't want to know anything about the Grandline til he gets there. He's also very anti-spoiler

2023-11-04 15:13:41 +0000 UTCwatched all of it 👍 In regards to the anime movies: They're pretty much all non-canon but usually sprinkle in a bit of inspiration from future canon content. The major spoilers are the future crewmates and power-ups so I think a lot of us would agree that waiting for the proper reveals in the anime is best. The newer ones are much higher quality (especially Film Red) but right now the only safe one to watch is Movie 1 for where you're at. I wanted to mention since it's lost on a lot of viewers; One Piece is a Mystery series as much as it is an Adventure! I know a lot of us really enjoy new viewers theory crafting. Oda is a very intentional writer, every detail is accounted for and he constantly foreshadows future events, even as far back as East Blue. It's not uncommon for payoffs to happen 900+ chapters later while making them seem seamless. There's even an entire website dedicated to keeping track of all the series's foreshadowing and payoffs with how many chapters they each took.
