Yea I've had a guide for fillers already which is why I was so confused about ep 18 haha, but yea I'm gonna test out the next official fillers to see if I want to skip them or not.

Syrup village I think is more consistent in the LA but misses some key moments like the Usopp pirates disbanding and a win for Usopp in his own arc. I think they did good enough translating one of the most divisive arcs but Oda always sticks the landing on arc finales no matter how weak they start. Filler in OP is weird in that there isn't as much as you would expect and it's usually around the same quality as the canon. I'd recommend feeling them out but if you just want to stick with the meat of the series I don't blame you for using a filler guide. The real filler, which is poor pacing and padding, starts much later in the series so I wouldn't worry about that for now.
