Added 2022-03-25 13:48:29 +0000 UTCC: after the war, with nothing left of the world, the government just...forgot about it. They had no use for a blip on the map, not when they had enough inner turmoil to iron out. With everywhere else destroyed, the Island abandoned its sea trading routes. The soil here is barely arable, so without the importation of food and supplies...the inhabitants had no choice but to leave or starve. Many stayed and starved, of course.
