Milkers in the Dungeon Chapter 17

Ishtar's expression was one that looked like someone decided to drink milk straight from the carton. Only to find said milk was beyond sour and had chunks inside of it from how it was already half way to curdling into sour cream.

"Mother... Why are you here?" Ishtar spat helplessly as she waved her adventurers away from the room at seeing the painfully disappointed expression on her Pantheon's mother figure.

Tiamat stepped forward and loomed over her daughter who was sat at a throne-like seat behind a desk. And then Tiamat said bluntly and with utter disdain.

"I am disappointed in you Ishtar."

Ishtar's face twitched but Tiamat wasn't done... Not nearly done tearing into her daughter yet. "You wanted to be queen of Orario, that's fine. Understandable even. I was so proud of hearing how despite Amaterasu cheating with her Renards, you were still one of the most powerful Familias in Orario. Top five out of more than a thousand Familias in fact."

As Tiamat took a breath Ishtar took the chance to almost petulantly snap out in frustration. "You don't understand what Orario is like! I couldn't match the other Familia's with just normal amazons and adventurers!"

Tiamat raised an eyebrow with her voice becoming dangerously low. "Hoh? The great War Goddess Ishtar is afraid of her tactics, and training failing to match the ploys of what? Freya and Loki's idea's of training?"

At the mention of Freya, Ishtar's eyes became gleaming pits of fury but then a loud SNAP rang out as from out of nowhere Tiamat snapped up her sandle from her foot into her hand... And than like a fucking firecracker exploding, slapped said sandle across her daughter's head.

Which perfectly unfucked Ishtar's mind as she held her screaming head and looking at Tiamat with the fear of an obedient child who was just whipped literally into shape.

Tiamat then pointed her sandal at Ishtar and said firmly. "Ishtar! You are a war goddess, you are a goddess of fertility. You have such powerful domains, domains that exceed the grasp of that witch Freya's as well! You... You dissapoint me with how you slid into your worst domains."

Tiamat dropped her sandal and slipped it on before she walked around the desk and brought Ishtar almost into a hug before she paused at the smell of Soma coating her.

"Did... Did you just pour a bottle of Soma on your chest for someone to lick it Ishtar? Come now, you are better then this!" Tiamat snapped as she grimaced at the feeling of the stickyness remaining on her hand as Ishtar actually flushed in shame at being caught.

"I... I was going to take a bath in a couple of minutes. I just had to do some quick paperwork." She said helplessly.

But Tiamat snorted and said firmly. "Nonsense! You get right up this instant and go take a bath! This isn't Tenkai with our divine authority, what if you get buys crawling up all over you as you lose track of work!"

"And speaking of a nasty bug? What the hell have you been thinking, letting all the baby Amazons be taken back to Telskyura for that bitch Kali to kill them in her horrible games! You see her wasting all those Amazon lives, and you are just content using them as whores and leaving the children behind as a goddess of motherhood and fertility?!"

All the while, as Tiamat was verbally and sometimes physically tearing Ishtar's whole operation apart... She, being the perfect youngest child, just watched with evil joy at the eldest sibling getting all the 'attention' she wanted.

If there was one major complaint I had about my 'system' beyond it making my enhanced growth a fucking gatcha. It was how it didn't have an inventory of any kind besides for holding the gatcha items in particular.

Which fucking sucked here in this world of Danmachi in particular. As we could make so much more money if we had 'infinite' storage for all the materials we got from the dungeon.

To say nothing of being able to carry our food and other supplies into the dungeon, as we were very limited in terms of how long we could spend in the dungeon in particular.

"Hmm, it's a pity the next Pantry is all the way on the twentieth floor." Shenhe said a bit dully as she stretched her arms a bit as she was doing very good work with the warhammer she had been using specifically due to the Killer Ants taking too much work with her spear.

On the other hand Fillia added very pointedly. "Even if we could make our way to Rivira, we wouldn't be able to handle the monsters at the pantry in their numbers... Well Jake, and maybe you could Shenhe." 

As beyond my own divine sword being the best thing ever, as I didn't need to worry about mundane maintenance for it. I also had my special Yin-Yang martial arts that could use fire and ice attacks with the sword as well.

So I could probably hold my own for a while against the monsters of the twentieth floor... For a while, I would quickly run out of mana and stamina; however, using powerful attacks to get passed the strength difference the monsters that level had.

Then Shenhe hummed thoughtfully, then she looked to her 'mom' and said thoughtfully. "Master... Could we get some monster bait, and then on the fifteenth floor? Use the monster bait to try to kill the Minotaur's en-masse?"

Even as Xianyun's face twitched at her murderhobo of an adopted daughter's 'innocent' question. I actually spoke up thoughtfully. "Actually... So long as we get a defensible position, and destroy the walls so the dungeon can't spawn things behind us and such. It would be a good idea."

With even Ganyu saying helplessly. "I would also prefer to shoot minotaurs and bigger monsters. It's painful trying to shoot Killer ant's and Frog Shooters with a larger bow." 

Fillia and Xianyun, both being the calm and collected members of our party, looked at each other in despair but still I said gently. "It's a thought to keep in mind... Besides, it will take some time to even find Monster Bait as it is an illegal substance."
