Great Great Asset Chapter 31

Musubi kept Karasuba under 'control' thankfully as it seemed that my food at least was good enough that she wasn't going to cut me down at this moment.

And for good reason, as when I did an 'Observe.' On the dishes I prepared, they all were modified with my Gamer cheat so they all gave hours long regeneration, stamina recover, along with max health/mana by a flat twenty percent.

And that was with very 'common' and regular food, if the food was made with supernatural ingredients, herbs, or otherwise even a cooking 'skill' I somehow still needed to unlock manually through a skill book.

The food and other stuff I made would only get better!

"Hmm, I could smell the food as I was coming in... So where is the wine that was used in cooking the food!" A voice yelled as the door got thrown open.

My lips twitched seeing the voluptous form of Kazehana glaring at me alongside this groups leader in Feixiao who was just behind Kazehana.

Kazehana was still wearing a tight fitting dress that clung to her very ample frame, though Feixiao had seemingly dropped off her long coat somewhere as she walked past Kazehana who was glaring at me still with a chuckle escaping her.

"Calm down Kazehana, I am sure he will share if you don't string him up." Feixiao said with her foxian ears twitching in amuesment.

I coughed a bit to clear my throat before I said. "I did spend a couple PEI points to get a big shipment of wine for cooking and such... The wine itself isn't that great for straight drinking but it's in the kitchen store room."

And Kazehana took one look at the still hot food that hadn't been ladled out and she said quickly. "Ok! Lemmie go get a couple bottles to go with dinner!"

My face twitched as these bottles weren't the smaller normal size wine bottles, they were a good bit better. But then again Kazehana was a total alcholic even without her previous emotional hang-ups the true version of her had in canon Sekirei.

All the while, Feixiao had already gotten her own food together and after taking a few bites, she interuptted Karasuba and Musubi's talk with Musubi telling the murder hobo Sekirei about our little trip.

"Karasuba... No killing Jake, his food is too useful for you to kill him. Kill the other groups who will try to snatch Jake up for their own." Feixiao said with a small smile as she held her face in her hand as she hummed in enjoyment.

The room went quiet, even the twins own quiet conversation and Matsu's perverted giggling went quiet as Karasuba looked between me and Musubi before she hummed.

And then after the moment of thought she said evenly. "Oh, fine then. I suppose it cannot be helped with how he helped make Musubi stronger as well. But he is still weak."

I then cut in as I said evenly. "I am weak for now. Staying in this shit hole is not my end goal. With the cheat, I bought I can just slaughter monsters to get infinitely stronger and no form of magic or bloodline skill is out of my hands given enough time and resources."

Karasuba gave me a long look before she snorted and said with amuesment. "You know, I don't actually hate humans. I have seen plenty of strong humans in this shithole, some of which can kill me fairly easily through their tricks and just through sheer skill and power."

Then she said more coldly. "But I still hate the weak. The weak have no right to live in my view even with talent or some special value they may provide. So, prove your strength and I won't disdain your very existence."

I held in a rebuttal before just nodding as I saw Feixiao's cool stance to the conversation.

 Meaning that she didn't want to be involved so long as it didn't get ugly and that was the Feixiao I knew. 

Then as Karasuba went back to eating... And it made me inwardly smugly smile at how she clearly had to hold in her reaction to actual good food.

I was drawn back into a conversation with Kuroka who was a fucking vibrating machine as she sat in a doze across from me due to the stack of fillet fish slices she was working her way through.

"Hmm, so you say you can get a whole bluefin tuna for like twenty points nyah?!" Kuroka spoke as though my words were an unholy gospel to her Nekoshou ears.

"Yup, normal shit isn't that expensive for me to buy through the points. Though, I don't think my sponsor actually wants me to buy alot of common things. I am supposed to be getting stronger and leaving this shithole before moving on after all." 

Though it was likely going to take me a good while until I reached Continental level in power scaling terms.

Still I added on with a thoughtful hum. "Though with my cheat secured, I wonder if I could buy another cheat. Either for myself or others."

Because there WERE Devil Fruits in the shop at times for example... I looked over to Akitsu who was sitting next to me and I held her hand as I said with a chuckle. "Imagine if I get Akitsu the Ice-Ice Fruit for example!"

But then Akitsu said quietly. "Maybe buy it... But don't give it to me. I don't want to get too strong."

And I knew what she meant as she squeezed my hand in turn. She was afraid that with the added power of the devil fruit, she would be forced to leave this damned shit hole of a universe.

Then a cough rang out as Hikari and Hibiki perked up with Hikari the sister with the larger breasts perking up and saying. "That is... Rather crazy and a strong idea as well. Because it's not potential power level that gets someone kicked from the universe, it's actually using such power that can affect the seals on the universe that leads to you getting kicked."

With Hibiki then adding on wistfully. "If we both had the Rumble Rumble Fruit... I bet we could even take on Miya honestly. At least give her a good fight!"

That then raised a question then... Feixiao was most definetly at or beyond continental in power. Why was she even sent into this universe anyway?

My thoughtful gaze was easily picked up by the Pathstrider of the Hunt who merely hummed and said calmly. "I have my own reasons for being here Jake. Maybe you will learn some other day. Anyway, Matsu do you think that little rabbit Tabane Shinonono would trade for all that base materials we collected, and what should we try to get?"

Matsu at the question pointed at her hummed and said thoughtfully. "Well with Jake having his own seemingly infinite pocket demension we can can actually get some vehicles in case we need to move around. So we should try to get some quad bikes with nuclear batteries or something like that. So we don't need to worry about fuel issues for the vehicles." 

Feixiao gave a slight nod even as I could see Karasuba rolling her eyes. Clearly thinking we should go rob the creator of the IS units from Infinite Stratos for goodies.
