Celestial Path Chapter 25

All too soon, I had left the grasp of my team with Kiyome and Kaori walking with me for a good bit before they split off to head towards the Uchiha District without much of a fuss.

"Well now, what do I do?" I mused to myself as I made my way to my backyard and I mused on the most glaring weakness I had still. I had plenty of physcial strength due to my open gates that paired perfectly with my... Various forms of immortality.

Combined with my at least Jonin tier chakra pool. I had only one weakness when it came to the other ninja's of this world... And the especially the youkai and samurai. And that was my general speed and reaction speed especially.

'With my immortality, and talent perks... Maybe it's time I give it a try. What's the fucking worst Kumo could do to me for figuring out their Lightning Armor? Send honey pots and assassins? I have the 'Mokuton' that's a fucking given already.' I thought with some amuesment.

The method to train and activate lightning chakra within the body however was on the more complicated compared to the other elements. Whereas for fire, water, and wind. it was forming the elements in the throat, stomach and lungs.

Lightning however was formed from the nerves... And unlike the other chakra forming situations, there wasn't a literal path out of the body from the mouth for an easy exit.

So when you fucked up lightning manipulation unlike with even fire manipulation from within the body that results in you just coughing and at worst getting some burnt lungs.

Fucking up lightning would without any doubt leave you at least paralysed as the lightning that formed directly from your fucking nerves ran havoc across your body. Which is why lightning user's were on the rarer end even in Lightning Country.

'But I am literally immortal, if I fuck up and paralyse myself. I can unfuck myself in but moments!' I thought before I began molding my chakra as I knew the Raikage's lightning armor didn't require any hand signs.

It required total skill, and now with the talent perk that was going to increase my ability to learn it and not leave me a vegetable god knows how many times... I was willing to learn it now!

"Lightning armor at least from the anime was a total coating of the body in lightning chakra... But different from the Hyuga's sphere jutsu to block attacks and grind people down." I muttered before I got to work.

And with a crackle of lightning I felt pain rip through my body and I knew no more.

I awoke to the feeling of big titties in my face... And thus I knew Eleonore had picked me up from the back patio and as I tensed a bit as she obviously picked up on me coming awake. She spoke softly.

"Akari... You shoudn't train in lightning release alone. It is an extremely dangerous thing to mess around with. Everyone starts by merely using their body as a conduit to arc some lightning between copper or even just lightning up light bulbs that are made to train a person's control over the lightning."

I nodded into those delightful scoops of heaven before I said quietly. "I understand." 

"We can easily pick up some different voltage light bulb's for you to train in your lightning elemental use. What kind of lightning jutsu were you trying though?" Eleanor asked as she very clearly relaxed at hearing my speech was fine.

Well, given a measure of fine beyond her huge tits anyway.

"Sounds good. I was just trying to like make a taser jutsu to arc lightning between my fingers to non-lethally capture someone." I muttered quietly.

Which was partly true. I did want to learn such a jutsu as I knew that having a non-lethal way to capture someone that wasn't punching them in the head to get between a concussion and splattering their brains was the right way.

Still, I groaned a bit and asked. "It's not too late is it?" 

With Eleanor saying gently. "No, it's only like six in the morning."

I nodded and relaxed, knowing that the mission to deliver that noble kid was slated for later today, as we were supposed to reach the noble families home around noon anyway.

"I need to get cleaned up then." I said with a grunt as I realized that I had showered last night with how I had knocked myself unconscious with my lightning fuck up.

And that was a good reminder that although I was immortal... Actually frying my brain, could leave my mind inoperable even after it healed as it decides to stay at rest.

After getting a quick shower with Eleanor helping me brush my longer hair and my perfect kitsune tails to make sure they didn't get too floofy like a damned tanuki's tail or something.

At that point it was already well past dawn so I decided to pick up some nicer pre-made meals from the ninja vendors that sold pre-made meals that could be easily re-heated while on a mission.

"Hmm, make sure you are eating these in a safe place kid. Re-heating the food makes it steam naturally, and most importantly, let out the foods scent so be careful." The older man running the store warned me as I sealed away the food into a sealing scroll.

"Thank you for the heads up. I will definitely keep that in mind." I said with a nod of thanks before I made my way out towards the Hokage Building were we all were supposed to meet.

"Kaori! I got my mission bra!" Kiyome yelled from her bedroom and Kaori the older sister face palmed before she shouted back.

"Kiyome, you literally haven't even gone on a mission yet! You can't have a mission bra! Plus we will be on the mission for at least the next three days escorting the brat's carriage to and from the temple, you going to wear the same bra the whole time!?" 

There was a pause before Kaori snapped back. "I got to have a mission bra! The older genin and chunin said that it's like a better pair of lucky panties. Or a guy, with their special kunai they always keep nice and polished!"

"How... Why Lord Fourth, why do you punish me by having my stupid sister on my team?" Kiyome whispered while staring up into the ceiling as though it would provide an answer for her.

Kiyome sighed before moving from the wall she was leaning on across from the door leading to her sister's room. She had to do the older sibling's job in making sure her helpless sister didn't forget to pack her socks or some nonsense.

As she pushed open the door... Of course without knocking her face pinched.

As Kaori likewise froze from stuffing her larger hip bag that held the sealing scrolls that had her supplies. Because within her hand was a small box that clearly read 'active birth control'.

There was a pause before Kaori said flatly. "Kiyome... If I find out you fucked Akari on a mission. I will smother you with your fucking hypoallergenic body pillow I swear this to Amaterasu!"

Kaori looked her sister dead in the eye. And she retorted. "At least he enjoys hugging me more."

And thus the daily spat of Uchiha siblings began to fight, but Kaori, being better trained, and stronger while being the elder sibling, finally put her sister into a choke hold and gritted out. "No getting caught fucking on a mission, you hear!"

At Kiyomi's cry of surrender, Kaori arrogantly snorted and moved to get off of her younger sister. Once she did so... She paused before reaching into Kiyome's pack where she audibly shook the small box of chakra-grade anti-pregnancy pills and then.

She just left her sister's room with the box of pills. And didn't even close the door behind her, making Kaori scream in frustration at both the loss of pride in being put in a headlock, getting robbed. And also the humiliation of her victorious sister, not even closing her door!

After a good couple of hours of waiting outside the Hokage Building and just messing around after learning how to make shorter chakra strings to swing a kunai on. I blinked at seeing Yoruichi arrive first actually.

"I thought the other two were going to get here first with how you got Eleanore living with you." Yoruichi said with a teasing grin.

To which I raised an eyebrow and asked curiously. "Oh, you know her from the anbu as well?"

Yoruchi's face actually pinched at that for some reason though I didn't think much of it as she hummed and spoke. "Yeah you could say that. Anyway, you interested in chakra strings Akari?" 

I nodded and replied thoughtfully. "Chakra strings are pretty interesting actually. A fantastic way to train your chakra points and get more used to them."

The way chakra strings worked after all, was by pushing a solid stream of chakra through an acupoint/chakra node. A string could be made, and controlled from the chakra point.

"Hmm... Honestly, beyond the chakra control training aspect. Just the training in doing multiple things at once is extremely good for you Akari." Yoruichi said firmly in approval.

Then after a moment, I paused as she moved closer, and from behind her, she offered me a larger light bulb of some kind? "Speaking of Eleanor, she snitched to me about you being a dumbass and knocking yourself out while training your lightning affinity without any guidance."

"This lightbulb is made from chakra-resistant materials from the wire, to the glass, and everything else. Even a jonin with a strong affinity can't overload the almost pinkie thick coil in the damn thing so just don't break the shaded glass and you will be fine." 

I smiled a bit helplessly but I took the no doubt rather expensive training tool and said honestly. "Thank you. I really appreciate it Yoruichi... So, want to tell me about yourself? We got a good half an hour before we are technically supposed to meet?" 

Yoruichi gave a drawn-out hum before she said with clear amusement. "Sorry kid, I don't tell my life story to an adorable little genin I just met not even a week ago." 

A chuckle couldn't help but escape me with myself shrugging and saying easily. "Alright. Fine be that way... I was going to share the story on how Jiraiya almost sold my ass into two arranged marriages on the couple-month-long training trip we went on. But if we won't share any stories." I drew off.

The darker skinned beauty paused at that and visibly seemed to consider things... Before she looked at me seriously and said. "Fine, I need that black mail for my black book. So how about I tell you about the mission where Eleanor and I went up to Kumo and killed a demigod of Raijin that raided the Land of Fire several times?" 

And so I learned a slighty wacky story as the two women plus a couple other anbu which almost certainly included Kakashi went to get deal with said demi-god that was causing issues.

With Yoruchi cackling at how the demi-god was immune to the actual lightning of 'Kakashi's' lightning attack and although 'Kakashi' killed him by spearing his hand through his chest via having the first two gates open.

He broke all his fingers and his wrist in doing so which led to all his anbu friends making fun of him for 'polishing' his old sword too hard that he rarely used due to it being blessed by a kami of the wind and costing too much energy.

Sure she didn't say that it was Kakashi himself... But calling him a one eye'd scarecrow who fucked up a lightning based assassination jutsu didn't leave too many options in the anbu honestly.

As I rather doubted that Kakashi had also freely gave out his Chidori technique to boot.

Still it was rather funny story and thus I started talking about my misadventures with Jiraiya... Meeting the Fire Daimyo and Jiraiya running away as the fucking Daimyo made me play games of overly complicated chess to determine which of his two daughters I was more suited for.

"Yeah... That Azula sounds like trouble. The best kind of trouble, but probably not someone you want to settle down with unless you are looking for that crazy energy." Yoruichi chuckled with a grin before she waved a hand for me to continue.

Thus I continued, talking about the oni clan I helped purge. I even showed off the large sapphire divine Oni-Sake to boot before I got to the more awkward part in talking about meeting Toga the Daiyoukai and of course the fight with his daughter and how I was almost set up with her as well after winning the fight.

"So... Not only did you manage to avoid two marriages getting thrown into your lap. But Jiraiya has an actual marriage offer for his disciple from the Nadeshiko Village... Hahaha! I bet the Hokage is going to be laughing their ass off at that haha!" Yoruichi laughed.

My face twitched as I recalled how Sesshomaru said she was going to be looking for me as well... So it was almost damned certain that she and Toga would be looking in on me at the end of the upcoming Chunin Exams as well.

Unbidden to me, the thought of Feng Xu'er, Sesshomaru, and Shizuka, the heiress of the Nadeshiko village meeting at the Chunin Exam's made me fucking shudder to say the least.

Then I perked up as I looked over to the side to see Kaori and Kiyome making their way over here with Yoruchi speaking up more firmly. "Good you both are here half an hour early. That's good, now lets get checked out of the village and start making our way to the noble families estate." 

Yoruichi had already signed us up for the mission anyway so we just need to meet up properly before we left and with us all here it was just time go.

Signing out of the village wasn't 'too' much of an issue as we had to sign our names down along with putting down our chakra signature into a piece of chakra reactive paper that would then be tested when we arrived back.

And should the chakra signature not match... That's when things would get spicy.

Once we left the village Yoruichi explained that we were heading towards the gambling city of Tanzaku Gai of which was were the noble families estate was.

'Hmm, I wonder if Tsunade is also in town?' I mused to myself before mentally shrugging as I coudn't help a chuckle at seeing how Kiyome was struggling to keep up at Chunin speeds.

Which... To be fair, she was graduated early and she was still a solid genin even though Yoruichi had been training her into the ground especially for the last week.

"Between missions, we will also be working on your stamina Kiyome!" Yoruichi called out as she was well aware of it as well.

"I know! I just got out of the academy and you are expecting me to keep up at Chunin speeds is nonsense!" Kiyome somewhat fairly called back with Yoruichi just laughing as complaining wasn't going to solve a damned thing.

Though on the other hand... Due to my super hugs, the girls chakra pools and stamina limits were bigger then most Genin thankfully.

So we made good distance from Konoha before both Kiyome and Kaori needed a small break so we could arrive at the noble's estate not out of breath or anything.

"Hmm, by the way Kiyome, have you been blooded yet?" Yoruichi asked as we sat on various massive branches that we had been running through.

Kiyome paused before shook her head. She then said evenly. "I have been hunting before and cleaned out animals and such. So I won't freeze at the sight of blood. But I haven't killed anyone yet."

Yoruichi nodded though I noticed that Kaori wasn't asked. Which meant that while already a Genin she had almost certainly taken a little bandit clearing mission already. Or something to that effect.

But as I took a light sip from my Oni wine jug to wet my throat with it's actually good tasting fruit wine I made on purpose this time. I could feel a familiar youkai chakra signature in the distance.

'Hmm, Shinano is following me again. And she is trying to hide from us... But the void of an energy signature sticks out like a sore fucking thumb to me.' I mused before shrugging and going back to fucking with my chakra strings while considering other things.

And after a bit, I mentally mused on how much harder it would be to figure out how to use the Swift Release. This was basically super Lightning Armor with even better speed, but without the armor itself as the wind and lightning chakra worked within oneself to make them as fast as possible.

'Chakra is fucking weird... Trying to figure out Swift Release is going to be like trying to figure out Dust Release but inside of my fucking body.' I thought with a wry smile before I went back to messing with the training light bulb to train my control over lightning voltages and other variables.

After a good break we then made our way into Tanzaka Gai with Kiyome saying with some wonder at seeing all the brightly lit casinos and gambling parlors. "Wow... The casinos are so beautiful. I wonder what other shops are here as well?" 

Kaori coughed a bit and said with some amusement. "The casinos are a waste of money, Kiyome. And although the shops are interesting, it's hardly different from the shops back home, except the goods are often of lower quality."

Yoruichi then chimed in with a chuckle. "The goods aren't made with the antics of ninja's in mind to be fair. But also, we aren't allowed to gamble in any decent casino or parlor. Hell, many Konoha ninja are actually hired as bouncers and to find cheaters."

Then Yoruichi looked to me and said with a grin. "With how Lord Jiraiya also owns several of the casinos around here... I wonder what kind of face he would have if you came in and fleeced him, haha!"

Though on the other hand, I also knew that the casinos acted to take care of the whores and the spies that worked in Jiraiya's casinos, who were extremely well paid.
