Great Great Asset Chapter 26

Freezing winds and massive shattering punches rang out as Akitsu and Musubi worked together to utterly smash through the concrete and rebar that separated us from the inside of the vault.

All the while, I could see how Tsukiumi looked on with clear jealousy at the two Sekirei's clear increase in power as they used their Norito state to smash into the vault. To say nothing of how she was already reacting to me anyway.

Finally, with a loud screech of bent rebar giving way. Musubi's punched-in tunnel broke and she darted into the tunnel to head into the vault. And as she entered the darkness of the tunnel, I could hear roars of gunfire erupting.

For a moment, I was worried about Musubi... Until I remembered she could punch and dodge bullets, and then I took a breath before I headed into the hole as well with Akitsu and Tsukiumi following with me.

And as I came into the front area, and managed to NOT trip over the debris of the concrete. The first thing I saw was the gore splattered across the wall, along with a dozen super mutant corpses. My eye's were then drawn to a scream as I saw Musubi jump up to grab a Super Mutant by the head and smash it repeatedly into a metal wall.

Then there was a haunting silence that was only broken by Akitsu and Tsukiumi coming in behind me with Musubi turning to me and saying happily. "I killed them all my Ashikabi!"

'Yeahhh this universe has made Musubi lose her casual fighting attitude. Or just warped that joy for battle into a joy for slaughter.' I thought before my face twitched at the realization that Karasuba most certainly had some influence on Musubi in this twisted shit hole of a universe.

Then Tsukiumi complainedwith some annoyance. "Did you need to make such a mess Musubi? I got their gore on my heels!"

"Hehe, these mutants need me to punch them pretty hard so their blood gets a bit everwhere." She said a bit sheepishly while Tsukiumi summoned some water to clean her heels with a huff.

But even as she did so, I could hear the roars of more super mutants coming up from deeper in the vault.

"I can deal with them now... Heat rises, and the cold?" Akitsu said coldly and she held out her hands towards the large door that had been clearly torn off and a white stream of freezing air shot down into the staircase leading deeper into the vault.

'If the rest of the doors have been broken down as well for ease of movement for the larger super mutants. Her freezing mist will quickly seep in... As the vault is clearly running at little to no power.' I thought with some realization.

I came to that realization as the air was painfully thick, clearly a sign that the vault's ventilation system or at least air conditoning wasn't working much.

"Can you keep up that stream of cold?" I asked Akitsu with some concern.

To which Akitsu just smiled softly and said with complete confidence in her soft voice. "I am a single digit quality Sekirei... And you made me even stronger with your love. I can deal with it."

And so we just... Waited as Akitsu poured an icy 'poison' into the vault with the sinking freezing cold air filling the rooms with myself realizing that it was probably easier for her to send out freezing air then actually conjuring giant ice attacks anyway.

Though I was rather suprised that no other super mutants tried to enter through the small entrance that Musubi punched open. Or just other super mutants in general appearing from behind us.

Still, we waited in baited silence as the roars and such from down below were silenced as the closer any super mutants made towards the surface the colder it became as they hit the pure stream of icy air Akitsu conjured.

A good ten or so minutes later Akitsu raised her hand with the cold air stopping and I myself could feel a good bit of my aura having drained to keep me safe despite Akitsu having poured all the cold air into the stairway leading deeper into the vault.

"Now, Jake while we wait for the air to warm a bit even for us it's too much down there. You should sell off those corpses... Well the ones that Musubi left whole enough." Tsukiumi said with a slight huff at the still messy room.

But... The blood and gore had visibly darkened with the frigid sub zero air already thankfully.

"Sounds good. Musubi can you please help drag them closer as well?" I asked as I took off my demensional braclet and began selling the corpses of the super mutants.

Musubi obviously was happy to help with her exuberent attitude, still I got a couple thousand points already from the like... Two hundred something Super Mutants that we slaughtered in the massive tunnel and the front of the vault.

After selling the corpses of the mutated once humans. Hell for all I knew, they were never human and came into being in this realm as super mutants.

We carefully began making our way deeper into the vault where we found alot more super mutants who had fallen and died due to breathing in the super chilled air near the Vault's atrium.

Which even included the already stiff form of a super mutant behemoth!

The behemoth was clearly used to crawling through the vault and it explained why the vault doors were broken. And actually the more I thought about it, the openings for the vault doors were bigger and wider then usual.

'Hmm maybe this vault's purpose was the creation of Super Mutants actually!' I thought before Musubi hummed and said with with a chuckle. "Hmm, the tech this vault uses is both messed up and super dated compared to some of the based we saw other groups of waifus took over!"

I gave a slight hum of thought as I thought back to the only slight info that Chizuru had of other groups in this hell verse that she knew. So I asked curiously. "Do our group have any interactions with other factions? Or groups?"

To which Akitsu answered as Musubi stalled in thought at what to speak about first probably. "Yes, we interact with a group of mages somewhat regularly. They aren't that powerful but they have alot of weaker mages, and trade talisman's disposable runes, and weapons for Primordial Energy Items."

Then Musubi excitedly added. "Oh! Don't forget Mirko's crew! She runs a tight shp, but her group is mostly straight fighters so they are roamers and constantly get into fights with monsters and other more hostile groups."

Yeah... Like like the 'waifus' who were complete monsters in the physcial and literal sense. Because even the worst, most abominable women were collected in the Waifu Catalog, and it was the fact they were so terrible that they weren't sold that it was likely they were dumped here."

Then it hit me when she remarked about Mirko's crew. That was the group which I met one of their smaller squads/roamers with Sinder who unlocked my aura.

Still, I was pulled out my thoughts of the memory as Tsukiumi hummed and added. "Oh, and we also interact with Tabane's group. She outfits her group with power armor called IS that make them fairly resilent along with having fairly advanced weapons."

Tsukiumi shook her head and said with clear disdain. "Tabane also has several other technology themed waifus following her, along with some mages who can touch upon technology anyway."

A loud metallic groan of metal unclenching from it's insanely cold tempature rang out through the vault which got us back on task.

While I kept selling the corpses of the supermutants we soon scoured the rest of the vault and my prior thoughts were right.

As the vault itself was only three floors deep with the second floor being a massive 'holding area' with many cages and cells built into the floors. While the third floor was clearly Vault Tech's plan for this vault.

"I have a bad feeling about this... Let's leave Jake." Musubi said quietly as we looked out into the frozen pools of glowing green blocks in giant vats. Which was almost certainly the FEV or Forced Evolution Virus that would turn humans into super mutants and other creatures into mutated monsters.

I nodded and said quietly. "Good, my braclet aren't picking up any PEI either. So let's get out of here."

We then headed back upstairs to the first floor to where the armory was and my face twitched at realizing that the armory was still sealed though the fallout style computer next to the armored door was ripped off.

Along with that, the door itself was blackened and dented from being shot and hit with explosives. But the shorter hallways from the depths of the first hallway clearly kept the behemoth from breaking the door like the rest of the doors were broken.

"Akitsu, can you please use your ice to life up the door from the gaps?" I asked curiously with Akitsu humming and then Akitsu stepped in front of me to kiss me to activate her Norito again.

Then her ice began... Folding the thick steel door as she slowly forced ice into the gaps of the metal door and applied immense pressure.

Finally after a couple more minutes, it was open! And as I walked in. I raised an eyebrow as my braclet pinged even as I took in the oversized laser and plasma rifles lining the walls in locked gun cages.

'Yeah this place was definetly meant to make and arm these super mutants.' I mused as Musubi casually ripped a padlock off the cage and I inspected a laser rifle before I managed to find the Primordial Energy Item in question that was in the armory.

The item in question was a plasma energy cell that was worth... "Holy fuck this plasma energy cell is literally worth ten thousand credits?!" I said in complete suprise.

The rest came to inspect it but before Musubi could touch it. Tsukiumi said firmly. "Do not touch it Musubi! It's value could be the insane energy it has within itself. Or it could even have infinite power within a power outlet limit."

I chewed on my inner cheek at the thought of the value of this thing beyond just its points... As it would be certainly take a chunk out of the points I needed for the Gamer power I wanted to pick up for my cheat.

Still, I looked at the battery and asked curiously. "Beyond just selling it. What other value could we get out of it? As doesn't the courthouse have plenty of power and whatnot still?"

Akitsu nodded and said quietly. "Yes, I think that the generator that Matsu got running was from a realm from the same universe as this. Still, such an energy cell could be sold for great value to Tabane's group for example."

I looked at my points which was far away from the fifty thousand points I needed for the Gamer power, and I asked with a wry smile. "Would they trade me more then ten thousand points?"

And in unison all three women said plainly. "No!"

With Tsukiumi and Musubi talking over one another until the water user huffed making Musubi grin and chuckle sheepishly and wave her hand for her to go on.

"Ahem, all though they would be willing to trade a large amount of supplies for such a treasure. Not even Tabane the leader of her group would be able to trade so many points. As most groups lesser members would rather use those points to just leave this hellscape." Tsukiumi said rather bluntly.

After a moment of thought, I just shook my head and my bracelet flew off to sell it with Tsukiumi sighing and saying quietly. "Jake, when you do get your cheat, and intergrate with our team more. You will need to understand that supplies aren't so easily found for a large group."

I gave a wry smile before I shrugged and said softly. "I get it. I am still looking out for myself though as well... Hell if we find any more good PEI and kill a bunch more of those coach roach monsters. It's possible I will be able to just get my cheat."

There was a moment of silence before we went back to looking through the laser and plasma rifles that were clearly sized for super mutants themselves. And after a good bit... I wanted to scream a bit.

As not only were the guns unwieldy as fuck due to their enlarged size. But it turns out that laser and plasma rifles were a good deal more fucking complicated then a simple shotgun.

So it took me a good few minutes to figure out how to slot in the laser rifle batteries along with the plasma energy cells for the guns that were in the best shape.

"Well we cleaned out this den of mutants and horrors. Sadly the vault itself is a mess with no supplies, beyond these weapons and the ammo which we don't need though Matsu might want the laser rifles." Tsukiumi spoke with a hum of thought before she continued.

"Now, we should be away from this place. Let us head to the destroyed city realm so that we may begin purging the oversized insects that plague said realm."

"Sounds good. Then let's get some of the laser rifles, along with their ammo and all these plasma cells loaded up." I said quickly.

Although the laser rifle bullets were just in reality normal batteries that had a good of power inside of them. The plasma cells were in reality, tiny nuclear reactors that would be able to output a good deal of power.

Should Matsu be able to tap into them anyway.

Still as we made our way back up to the surface and got our new goodies put away. As Musubi began driving us towards the city realm, I could feel Tsukiumi leaning slightly into me as we shared the back seat.

And knowing that Tsukiumi was heavily... Heavily reacting to me even if she had some tsundere tendencies. I just enjoyed the sensation of the voluptuous blonde leaning against me as her breathing became soft and deep.

The inventory is also a major reason to get it lmao

Azazyel

I would totally have had water girl flood the place then had icy freeze everything so I didn't have to worry about the FEV virus tftc

Additionally once you have gaer powers you get access to an inventory and can carry massive quantities of anything without the slowdown from mass/weight/unwieldy size issues
