The One Above The Heavens Chapter 24

Sadly, I couldn't find any sign of Vlov Arkangel or Roa in the industrial district besides a fucking massive horde of three thousand undead that I needed to purge. And then I had to blow up the industrial center to give an excuse for the mortal world as to why there were thousands of people who died.

Although I planned to rule both the mortal and moonlight worlds in due time. The mortal world wasn't ready for the news of the Dead Apostles yet... I shuddered to think what depths certain despots would go to in order to gain immortality after all.

Even though I had kinda revealed a good deal of the supernatural world with how I killed Angra Mainyu.

So with that large horde of undead dealt with at least. I settled in for a moment of thinking as I wondered what else was needed for me to take care of.

'Roa isn't hiding in the Tohno family so messing with them has no value... Shit, I think I am going to lose Vlov and Roa honestly." I thought with a scowl.

As although I was very strong and had many methods to deal with the lower ranked Dead Apostle Anscestors. Admittedly I coudn't track them down even with my methods as they have had millenia to hone their ability to hide.

And hiding was what the Dead Apostle Ancestors did best after all.

And with several Ancestors dying in the course of a couple days. It was obvious that Vlov and Roa would be fleeing the city, hell probably the country, as they wouldn't want to take any chances here in my territory.

"Well... In that case, should I just head back to Fuyuki?" I mused to myself as I rested my chin on my fist, as I sat down in a plush seat and looked out at the city of Misaki Town.

I then took out my phone and called Touma Amakusa my main contact with the History Compilation Committee and the Four Families that controlled much of Japan's magical heritage.

[Hello, my lord. Do you have further orders for our knights and mages?] He asked seriously as soon as he answered.

I took a breath, and then I said seriously. "No, with the sun having come up. Roa and Vlov are hiding almost certainly a mile, if not deeper, underground. And as soon as the sun set's they will be fleeing Japan with all due speed. So I am calling to tell you that I am returning to Fuyuki." 

There was a pause before he said with some strain. [As you wish, my lord... Would you like me to charter you a flight or anything?]

I knew that the Four Families were relying on me being here to keep the Church and even the Mages Association from making a mess. But I had other goals back in Fuyuki, and I was literally the Jade Emperor.

I wasn't going to just camp in some small city that wasn't the seat of my power in order to possibly catch some rats. No, if they came up into the open, I would happily go slaughter them, but I wasn't going to lord over Misaki Town for the next year to see if they popped up somewhere.

Because it was very likely that Vlov and Roa could do just that... Just put themselves in suspended animation deep underground, where they buried themselves and wouldn't come out of the ground for literal years.

"No, I will just make my way back home on my own. However I will leave Medusa and Atalanta here for a couple of days to make sure that the Church doesn't do anything... Stupid." I said drawing out the end for good reason.

And Touma's voice was filled with relief as he said. [Thank you, my lord. I wish you smooth and quick travels then.]

Knowing the man was also waiting to hear if I had any further orders, I considered things for a moment before shaking my head and saying calmly. "That will be all. Unless you yourself have something else you need to report?"

Then my face twitched as he spoke again and I was honestly astounded at how... Utterly shameless he was! [Ahem my lord, I was- No the History Compliation Commitee was wondering if you would be so willing as to check your email. We have collected a collection of worthy mikos, knights, and mages who desire to enter your service.]

I was silent for a long moment hearing that as I knew that they were in reality trying to honey pot me into favoring Japan's official supernatural faction. As they were obviously worried that the Tohsaka and Matou families may one day surpass and supress them.

As I had been teaching Rin and Sakura magic that was akin to the Age of the God's which was far more powerful then what humanity had available in this era. So they were thinking that when I inevitably bred the heiress's of the two families.

Well either two of the Four Families would be replaced. Or they would lose their power and centralization as it became the Six Families of the History Compilation Commitee.

I was so off put by the shameless cataloging of the organizations beauties and talents that I just said with a wry smile. "Yeah... I will look into it when I get home. Now excuse me. I have to speak with others now."

Hanging up the phone I brushed a hand across my face in consternation before muttering flatly. "I could just take a little submissive Miko... It woudn't cause me any trouble, Ugh!" I groaned before sighing and sending out various messages to my people.

And my face curled up into bemuesment as Erica sent me an image of her in a lewd see through sleeping dress as she was curled up on a love seat reading a saucy novel and reading a book.

Meanwhile the rest of my retinue sent more normal messages with Illya 'demanding' I bring a local snack from Misaki Town back for her. With the message being filled with emoji's and the like as Illya had discovered how to be even cuter somehow.

Getting up, I threw open the door to the balcony of my luxurious hotel room and I flew out to head back to Fuyuki. 

"Hopefully Athena doesn't cause trouble seeing as I coudn't find the last Dead Apostle Anscestors." I muttered as I could feel the Gorgoneion in my pocket as I coudn't keep it in my pocket demension with how it contained the leftover portions of Athena's serpent domains.
