I would have LOVED to have used my Backdoor semblance to open a door to Ozpin, Miss Goodwitch or even Calia herself to beg for help. But there was the simple fact that Lahmasu had absorbed a semblance to allow her to cancel the semblances of those she was looking at.

And my Backdoor ability was very much my semblance, unlike my Admiral essence. So I coudn't in fact just throw this bitch into Ozpin's office and let the time sage beat her to death with his cane.

I likewise saw Feixiao and Yunyun stick in space as they couldn't exactly attack her with how she had taken both myself and Xiao Yan as a hostage.

And then Lahmasu giggled and said with some humor. "Hmm, this one is kinda cute as well? You said he had the potential to be a sage as well? Wel,l well, maybe I should let him grow up a bit more. Let him gain his sage tool as a Grandmaster before I, Eat, Him, Up."

Yunyun's voice was icy cold as she said flatly. "Not only myself, but his grandfather will hunt you down as well Lahmasu. Let the young master go, and I will take my people and leave."

Lahmasu instead squeezed Xiao Yan with her long serpentine tail that had wrapped around us both. And Xiao Yan gagged and I heard his back audibly popping before he let out a scream of pain as wet crunching noises rang out at rib giving out.

And then as sharp winds cut around Lahmasu's form she giggled and her form loosened around Xiao Yan as she said chidingly.

"Ohhh no, you best be careful. This adorable little boy is still just unripened so I could... Accidentally squeeze him a bit too hard if I am surprised again." She said teasingly before humming.

"But... You taking him and leaving would be nice in fact. I can spend my time playing with that baby fox sage in the air. And then I can take this delightful little find to a playpen and begin breaking him in."

As Lahmasu spoke she casually moved my body across her coils so she could patronizingly pat my head... But her hand was like literally big enough to wrap around my entire chest as she was One Piece sized honestly.

"I don't suppose-" I started before her hand closed around my head and I was silenced and coudn't even scream as she squeezed down on my head.

Then a loud crunching noise rang out with Lahmasu snickering as she moved her hand, and I saw a faded illusion of Lahmasu's form breaking apart. As Shinano had seemingly teleported somehow to cut off her hand that was likewise wrapped around the illusion form of my head.

Then Lahmasu snickered and said with clear amuesment. "Actually little sage to be. If you kill that fox sage. I will give you this... Xiao Yan. I do want to eat him, but... Eating him later would be better."

Feixiao snorted as she looked between Yunyun and Lahmasu before she said coldly. "My only goal here is to protect Jake. Even if you take every single other person here hostage. I will gladly kill them all if needed and you know all to well the difference between a peak Grandmaster and a true Sage."

To which Lahmasu's twisted but beautiful face turned from a teasing smile into more a cold one as she said calmly. "Oh I do know that indeed. These precious little Silver Eye's will be quite useful should I be able to break him down and have him be able to help me devour my fellow Grimm."

There was a pause before Yunyun scowled and said darkly. "You wish to go beyond the Apacolypse rank and become a Transendent Grimm through absorbing more sage tools from the other Grimm!"

Xiao Yan coughed out blood from his broken ribs that were obviously poking into his lungs onto Lahmasu's scales who tutted and after a clear moment of thought.

She coiled herself around and then he was rolled between her coils until he reached her tail and she called out teasingly. "Catch!"

And with a loud snap followed by the sound of more broken bones. Lahmasu's tail snapped out like a whip with Xiao Yan's form being shot out at high speed with Yunyun flying to catch the clearly gravely wounded young master.

But then... I felt Lahmasu's coils loosen just a bit, and then a velvet cold voice whispered into my ear. "Do not move, just relax, Jake."

And then I held in a jolt as a set of arms went under my arm pits and then I felt my own fucking back pop as my neck almost snapped back as like a cork being shot out of a fucking bottle. I was yanked out at blinding speeds out of Lahmasu's coils.

"What!?" Lahmasu hissed furiously with a screech and then a pillar of golden flames smashed into the area around her and I saw that the Lahmasu who was holding me and Xiao Yan was also just an illusion, as the true and clearly burning Lahmasu screeched out furiously as golden flames burned across her form in the distance.

"You weren't paying attention, Fexiao." A cold voice spoke from behind me as I was put down on the ground.

As behind me and who had clearly snatched me up was a faunus woman who had green snake scales dotting across her skin. And then the one who spoke was Ophelia the dragon tribes Sage, and supposed spiritual leader of Faunus kind.

The silver-haired and horned faunus stepped forward with power suffocating radiating from her form as she spoke calmy as it felt like the air thickened and I knew that it was all three faunus sages making the void too thick to teleport through.

To prevent Lahmasu from teleporting away obviously.

"I agreed to help watch over Jake in order to help Vale in capturing whatever weaker Sages and Grandmasters that would respond from Mistral to capture Jake for his Silver Eyes... But an Apocalypse Grimm being turned over to the Church is also worth a great deal as well." Ophelia spoke with gold flames filling the air.

Then I blinked as the floating form of Yunyun who was moving Xiao Yan into the ship, was stabbed seemingly in the throat area by the snake faunus woman who had left my view and perception somehow...

I couldn't see anything else as a roar of screaming winds deafened me as Feixiao exploded like a nuke of countless wind blades that destroyed... Everything in front of her for several hundred if not thousand meters as she attacked Lahmasu.

"No this is not my style haha! I will be back for you Jake, make sure to activate those eye's for me!" Lahmasu taunted before she flared with light and a mirror of water formed that reflected the countless wind blades back at Feixiao with more power and tainted with Lahmasu's magical signature.

"I wouldn't think you can escape so easily," Ophelia spoke coldly and I fell to the ground as the ground gave way. And I was forced to close my eyes as a blinding golden fire flared to life, and it was only Ophelia's protection that kept me and my people safe as those flames turned the ground to but glass for the next five miles.

Crying and agony-filled screams then filled my ears as I blinked my spotty eye's and I saw that chains of that golden flames had collected the slavers and people of Mistral with Ophelia raising an eyebrow at me before she asked casually.

"Do you wish for these people to be dead... Or have them be alive?" 

I noticed all to quickly that the burning chains of golden flames were also wrapped around the people's necks and wrists to match a Faunus's chains of shame.

And for a moment... I considered just taking their corpses to Calia and calling my debt to her paid. But then I hardened my heart. As Luxanna and other's had already told me to stop being 'kind' to my enemies as it was just harming myself.

I needed to embrace cruelty to become truly strong... And as a cultivator I needed to let go of any thought of mercy as these people would have happily killed and enslaved my people.

"I want them as prisoners. Lady Ophelia, please prevent them from causing issues." I said firmly as I exhaled and felt my heart rate finally slowing down.

Ophelia gave me a measuring look, and then she smiled enigmatically with her saying simply. "Good, you have the will to get what needs to be done... Done, I will help you this one time. But next time you and yours will need to do it unless it's another Grandmaster or Sage."

But I noticed that her expression was filled with some frustration which meant that Lahmasu had clearly managed to flee with their damned illusion semblance or god knows what else it had. As I hadn't even seen whatever sage tool it had.

"Wait! The Xiao Clan will redeem us for treasure!" Yunyun spoke hurriedly in fear as more burning chains swirled around their forms.

And I realized as Prinz and New Jersey slammed into me to give me a hug... That Ophelia was a Sage at the same level as at least Miss Goodwitch.

As those chains just flared with power and the dozens of prisoners screamed as their arms and legs were cut off and then instantly healed into stubs by golden light that flared from the chains.

"Aurora. Seal the aura's and magical pools of Yunyun and the rest. We need to return back to the void before others pick up on our presence." Ophelia spoke blandly to the snake faunus, and I shook as she entered my perception again next to Yunyun somehow.

Like it wasn't that she was invisible, but that I just couldn't perceive her in front of myself at all.

The silent snake faunus sage merely nodded and I saw her fingers glow with malevolent green mana that then poked into the flesh of the still screaming prisoners and I was just thinking.

'Thank fucking god that I made sure to add a small prison to the Black Pearl.' As Ophelia gave me a look and said with a small smile. "I will be taking the Mistral's flying ships and freeing their slaves back into Vale. Don't get attacked by another Sage in the next few hours please."

I could only nod as the regal dragon faunus flew up towards the flying ships and more screams rang out as she began clearly burning the unimportant slavers alive on the ship to take said ship.

And then my face froze as Nora staggered over to Xiao Yan's form next to Yunyun... And then she looked over at me and asked with a thick voice and hollow eyes. "Master... Can I hit him?"

I nodded and then without a fucking moment of hesitation, Nora hefted up her hammer and smashed his head into the ground making a sick cracking and splattering noise as blood, bones, and brain matter went everywhere.

Making us all pause and even the prisoner's screams of pain be choked back as Yunyun's face got splattered with blood and brain matter as well.

'Oh fuck. I forgot that Xiao Yan's aura was shattered by Lahmasu.' I thought blankly.
