Genshin Chapter 125
Added 2025-05-15 05:59:46 +0000 UTCspent a good few more hours speaking with Lisa at length, sharing what knowledge I could which wasn't all too much on the concepts of electric signals from the videos and such on the old telegram systems and such I could recall from my world.
But all too soon it was time for me to get a move on, as it was A getting close to dinner time and Lisa was rather tired. And B- I was curious as to what has changed already in the Serentea Pot with how Cloud Retainer was in full 'creative' mode using her magic.
So after leaving Lisa, I used my entry token to remotely enter the small world inside of the Serentea Pot with a portal merely opening I had to step into.
And as I entered, my face stiffened as Cloud Retainer indeed had taken the time to build more across the large island and the smaller islands that made up the land mass inside of the small world.
As she had very notably converted the next largest island to the main one into what looked like a giant farm with rows of tree's and several plots of plants along with a couple ponds that clearly were rice farms.
'Never leave a bored cultivator who has a focus on crafting alone.' I thought with a wry smile before my face twitched as I saw Lumine was sitting across from Fischl of all people on the pation outside of our mansion and laying across from the two was Paimon whose stomach had visibly expanded from eating too much.
"Has the legends come true? The great devourer has been fed to the point of entering an eternal slumber?" I spoke with some chuuni flair with Fischl flushing as she saw me.
Lumine on the other hand being a total goblin giggled and cocked her heads towards Paimon and said with a wide smile.
"Yup! Xianyun found out that Paimon's endless void of a stomach can be defeated by just making massive amounts of flavored ice shavings."
My face twitched as I never considered such an easy solution... Just take a couple hundred gallons of water, and just throw in some koolaid before freezing it. Bam! Literally a ton of material that can fill the endless gullet of the incarnation of gluttony!
I chuckled at my thoughts before I raised an eyebrow at seeing how Lumine and Fischl had some cards in their hands and I asked curiously. "Oh? Whatcha guy's playing?"
And then my face pinched as Lumine happily explained how she was playing 'Genius Evocation' a new popular trading card game that has become popular and especially with people with elemental power.
As with special sets of the cards that were FAR more expensive, the people could channel elemental energy into the cards to use them to 'attack' enemy players cards.
"Lumine... How much did you spend on that deck." I spoke with dread as I could already feel the cringe at the memory of watching streamers opening those damned CSGO cases and Pokemon card packs in the hopes of getting decent stuff in my last life.
Lumine giggled and waved me off. "It's fine! I just stole Venti's deck haha! He owes me for using me to pay off his damned bar tab anyway."
At Fischl's rather nonchalant expression at Lumine's words, I knew that Fischl was still ignorant about Venti being the local drunkard twink. But still I refocused on Lumine and Fischl and asked curiously.
"Anyway, so what are your ladies plans for tommorrow? I mean the Wind Blume festival offically start's tommorrow anyway."
Fischl placed a hand over her heart and said proudly. "This Prinzessin know's all too well of the common celebration of the wind god! How could I not particpate where other's may also learn of the Sovereign of the Immernachtreich!"
Though Oz wasn't here to 'translate' what Fischl was saying, I knew the gist of what she was getting at anyway.
So I just nodded along and said. "I am glad to hear that, have you had a chance to meet the astrologer Mona yet? She has-"
Fischl clapped her hands together and she spoke happily. "Oh yes indeed I have! I have even brought her to mine royal mother's luncheon due to her being but too busy of late to properly aquire the food worthy of a friend of the Prinzessin der Verurteilung!"
Lumine coughed at Fischl long speech before she added more calmly. "Yes Jake, I do plan to wander around the shops and event booths as well. I was planning on having some girl time early in the morning as the breakfast booths open, allowing you to spend some time with Diluc who gave me a letter to pass to you."
I raised an eyebrow at the mention of Diluc writing me a letter as I thought he would be just pass a message to me directly by asking Lumine to have me meet him at his bar. Or if it was important, come to his house in the Dawn Winery.
But I shrugged and said easily. "Alright fair enough. Then just make sure that Ei and Shenhe don't get into trouble."
With that Lumine handed me a letter from her spatial pocket and I took the letter, breaking the seal and reading the letter.
[Jake I hope this letter finds you in good health currently, I have heard you have returned back to Mondstadt and wanted to formally invite you to a small celebration at dawn of the Windblume Festival. At Windrise, at the Galesong Hill. May the winds bless you and I hope accept this meeting.]
I gave a small smile before I realized that it was good that Lumine literally didn't forget the letter but still I shared what it was about with Lumine chuckling and saying in amuesment. "You enjoy you guy time. In any case Fischl, are you ready to return to our game?"
Her answer as Paimon's stomach audibly rumbling making us all look at the sleeping small form that was laid out next to Lumine and I just smiled shaking my head before I moved on.
To see what Ei and Shenhe were up to. Well most likely Ei was going to be meditating but I knew that she could light water on fire with her poor cooking skills so I wanted to check on her anyway.
