Hollow/FGO Chapter 35

Medusa fit along with the theme of who Ritsuka had been summoning all too damned well. Honestly I could tell that my Gudako definetly had an affinity with Beasts, and who humanity called Monsters in legend.

I mean despite me being a hero in my previous life and doing 'good' I was still by all measure a monster in being a Hollow. And not counting on how I went on a rampage killing every villain I could get my hands on.

Either way, I knew Medusa wouldn't be an issue so I relaxed even as Da Vinci pouted and grumbled. "Awww, I wanted her to summon another Caster!"

Giving the buxom genius a dull look I snarked back. "Do you want another Caster for a peer, or do you want one to drop chores onto, so you can get back into your workshop more?" 

Da-Vinci put a finger to her lip before she giggled and said shamelessly. "Both! Though Chaldea does need more mages to help do some specialized work only mages can do." She finished more seriously.

I made a humming noise as I watched Ritsuka and Medusa introducing themselves to one another before I asked curiously. "So how is the power draw right now? Could she summon another Servant?" 

Da-Vinci visibly thought about it, with her mind whirling at the considerations before she spoke carefully. "Hmm, for Medusa who has some divinity, she isn't taking up much mana surprisingly. Nowhere near the mana that you and Artoria take up when you are fighting anyway." 

She shrugged and added. "If she summoned a light mana costing Archer, Assassin, or a diligent Caster. Then it should be fine!"

I shrugged and called out. "Ritsuka! Do another! Medusa come on over so you don't interfere with the ritual."

Ritsuka sent me a look of concern before nodding as she knew if it was needed, I could take another servant for myself with my EX-ranked Oblivion Correction and Mana Absorption skills that allowed me to generate my own mana to offset the enormous cost I would normally put on my 'Master'.

And a light bloomed in the summoning circle as magical runes came to life even as Medusa stalked over to us the collection of Servant's watching the summoning.

"Feels a bit odd, being summoned, and then your master going to summon yet another servant so soon." Medusa spoke with some humor as she inspected us with her inhuman yet beautiful eyes.

And with a flourish of power I saw Ritsuka shudder and my face twitched as a flare of fucking divinity rang out as the form of light filled with light and power meaning a high class Servant was being summoned.

Finally the light faded away and I wanted to scream as my Ritsuka truly... Truly was cursed beyond fucking measure.

"Your reliable fox shrine woman has arrived! Tamamo no Mae has come to serve you, Master!" Tamamo fucking 'bounced' over to Ritsuka who was looking discomforted at the amount of mana the high-class servant was draining from her before Chaldea's systems picked up the slack.

I took a deep breath, and with an exhale I looked at Da-Vinci and said flatly. "No more... Ritsuka isn't allowed to summon any more servant's." 

With how we were going. I wouldn't be surprised if we summoned fucking Kama, Daji, or another Beast I couldn't handle even with Godkiller in my hands.

Da-Vinci at hearing my words just skipped ahead giggling as she ignored me and called out happily. "Oh! Is this another Caster I see haha!" 

Tamamo and Da-Vinci then began speaking with Ritsuka looking a bit better so I came over to her seeing the summoning session most certainly was done now until Tamamo went to summon up some charms to show off to Da Vinci and Ritsuka's magic circuits sparked to life.

"Alright, ladies!" I called out firmly getting their attention. "Chaldea's systems are tight on mana right now... Tamamo, you are too high class of a servant so you need to reign in your mana usage until we can free us more of Chaldea's systems." 

The foxy servant pouted and she quickly complained. "And who are you to tell me what to do!"

I knew her complaint was just verbal rather than an actual challenge but I still grinned and said with relish. "Jake Bariss, the slayer of Zeus. Creator of Heuco Mundo and the end of a world of Evils." 

And despite the DC Universe being... God knows how far away, Alaya was connected to all of humanity so as I listed my name.

Their Servant nature automatically filled in the blanks as I was most certainly part of the Throne of Hero with how I had been summoned here to help Chaldea.

And Tamamo at having my name and deed's slapping her in the face, had her expression pinch as I was... Pretty up there as a fucking god slayer. And that reminds me that Scathach was probably going to want me to do my best to kill her.

"So... All her mana is being used to fuel a beast like you?" She asked with a slight sigh and I shook my head.

"No, she is still fueling four more servant's alongside Chaldea's systems. Once we get another Grail as the one we already have is basically fueling all of Chaldea's energy needs. We will then have plenty of excess energy for servants right Da-Vinci?" I asked the genius.

Said genius perked up from where she was inspecting Tamamo's tail with a maniacal light after catching onto the divinity leaking through said tail.

"Oh? Yup totally haha! With the two grails we got from Singularity F, and Orleans. Chaldea is just now at a minor energy surplus with how bombs destroyed almost all of our mana generators!" Da-Vinci spoke excitedly.

So I nodded and looked over to the rest of the servants and said. "Alright, so lets just keep our mana usage on the lower end so we don't put strain on our adorable Gudako. Tamamo if you do need mana, I can top you off as I generate more mana then I cost." 

Tamamo gave me a nod of respect and understanding as Ritsuka pouted at how I was putting a spotlight on her. But before anything else was said, the intercom crackled to life.

"Jake Bariss, make your way to the Director's Office. Jake Bariss, to the Directors Office." I heard Olga speak making me raise an eyebrow.

So I shrugged and with an easy smile I said. "Whelp, the queen as called. You ladies behave." I said and left the room alone after I managed to get Tiamama to stay with Ritsuka for a bit.
