Aeon of Creation Chapter 19

A tense silence filled the front entry cart of the Astral Express. Dan Heng covered in a complete rainbow of sour fluids just stared at me while I paused with my drink just stopped from reaching my face as I looked at the normally so unflappable dragon-kin.

"Well... That's certainly something." I said with a draw in my voice as I snapped my finger making all the 'stomach fluids' of my candy dragon disappear from Dan Heng's form.

Dan Heng shuddered an said flatly. "Never again... I wanted to scratch my skin off with how sticky I was feeling under my clothes Jake." 

I smiled wryly and said in apology. "Alright my bad man. Soooo I assume they have conquered the castle and are currently mining it for it's goodness?" 

Dan Heng just deadpanned as he stared at me and said flatly. "Jake. You made chocolate and coffee moats that cure cancer and diabetus... The Underworld and Surface people of Belebog are getting snippy about it." 

I blinked and I responded in confusion. "So what? I made sure the Divine Tree could also make such stuff as well? They are an Emanator of my own path so why isn't the surface just asking for a pipeline of the same stuff?"

It was surprisingly Pom Pom who answered as they were sitting next to me taking a small break after I used my powers to get rid of all the dust in the cart. "Jake, let alone asking you. How can you expect them to just randomly ask a tree for a miracle cure!"

I raised up a finger as though to refute that... Then paused before smiling wryly and shrugging. "Whelp not my problem! The people of Jarilo VI will have some growing pains growing closer to their tree god I suppose."

Both Pom Pom and Dan Heng shook their heads like I was utterly hopeless but I just went back to drinking my Dr. Pepper which sadly wasn't a thing in this universe. I had to use my powers to create it and bring it into reality.

'I wonder if I can fuck with Penacony by making my own drink brand... If they try leading me by the nose like they did in canon. I will happily tank Soulglad's stock values by bringing out like Perkacola's from COD zombies that give people fucking superpowers.

"Jake... You already have that mad gleam in your eye. What are you thinking?" Dan Heng asked with some measured exasperation in his voice.

I couldn't help a chuckle and said. "Well, I was thinking about making some soda's from a fictional world that I was very into back when I was younger... Anyway, the soda's could give the drinker some amount of superpowers and I was thinking of making it but having the powers be a temporary thing."

My only response was clicking noises being made and then a minute later as Dan Heng refused to answer my questions about what he was doing on his phone. My own phone dinged as I was pinged in the Astral Express's group chat.

"Damned traitor!" I hissed making him scoff before he chuckled and retorted.

"That's what you get for making me itch for the half an hour it took me to get to the express... Now I am going to take a real shower." Dan Heng said as he left the room while Pom Pom just giggled as I was getting scolded by Himiko.

[Himiko- Jake! No human experimentation! Don't become Doctor Primitive or I will have to cut all your funding from the Astral Expresses group fund!]

[Jake- We didn't even get any funds when we came down to Jarilo 6, you told us to 'be adults' and handle everything... More like let Dan Heng, Stelle, and March handle everything! Besides my powers are literally absolute, I don't experiment I just get the result I want.]

[Himiko- Jake... Please don't make Jarilo VI more of a target for the IPC to try to take over.]

[Jake- Fine, I won't do it here... Hmm maybe Madam Herta or another Genius Society member would be interested in something like that.]

I paused as Stelle asked something curiously. 

[Stelle- @Jake why do you even care if the Genius's like or want what you got? Can they even give you something you can't wish up?]

I gave a slight hum before I responded easily. 

[Jake- @BaseballPounder... Yes, they can do the homework Himiko is inevitably going to give us. Ask March 7th about the weekend homework assignments and reports we need to make after leaving the world.]

Stelle and March 7th then began flipping their shit while Dan Heng helpfully added how we all typically did do reports so we could keep good records within the Astra Express's records that went back millennia.

"So you going back out before we leave Jake? Or you just gonna relax on the express?" Pom Pom asked me quietly as he put down his own oversized phone that was basically a tablet for him.

I gave a soft hum before shrugging and saying. "Well... I do have a project I need to check on. Besides that, yeah I might just relax for a bit as the people of Jarilo are rather high strung right now." 

With that project being Cocolia herself. With her being a pathstrider of my Path, I could tell she was still alive but I was curious as to how she was actually doing.
