Hunter/Genshin Chapter 120

We soon arrived at Mondstadt with the use of my Anemo Hypostasis, and from there we swiftly got ourselves a room within Diluc's bar and tavern in the Angel's Share. But seeing how late we arrived, we didn't see Diluc anyway.

'He is probably off doing his Batman thing anyway.' I thought with some amusement as Mona using what pitiful money she had left from her buying extremely expensive astronomy equipment got herself her own room as well.

Leaving the group for now at least until tomorrow where she and Eula would be looking for the heir of Mona's master's rival... Who was Klee, which would be funny enough to see and I was looking forward to it.

"Well its been a few hours, Paimon is rather curious to see if anything has changed within the Serenitea Pot." 

Shenhe hummed and looking at our group she gave a small smile that showed actual amusement before she spoke. "You will all be surprised... My master when she is determined can build things at amazing speed." 

I tilted my head to the side and I asked. "How about we go in and look?" I spoke as I took out the Serenitea Pot out of my spatial bag and put it down next to me.

And everyone nodded with Eula entering first with her Adepti seal and I went in next with my vision blurry before I blinked as bright sunny light hit my eyes. 'Ah yes the time dilation and being able to change the false sky in here.' I mused to myself before I paused at what I saw.

It was an abomination... 

But beautiful and functional all the same as Cloud Retainer/Xianyun had already built a large house, three stories high with the sides being mostly flat with normal windows in a more European design that matched Mondstadt.

But the bottom level obviously took from Inazuma culture with the roof-covered patio's and even small ponds with fish swimming about around all three sides I could see of the building in front of the patios.

Lastly for how weird the structure was. Was the fact that the roof was done in complicated arches and triangles like the roof's of houses of Liyue Harbor had.

"Wow! This is... Really cool!" Paimon called out kinda unsurely as she took in the large house and I could hear some noises from what sounded like behind the house.

So I said. "I think I hear Xianyun working in the back. I am going to go look real quick."

And while Shenhe, Lumine, Paimon, and Eula went to go look at the ponds I was followed by Ei as I went to the back of the house and I raised an eyebrow as I saw how Xianyun was building so fast even without any time dilation within this realm.

She was using a combination of her Anemo powers from her vision along with her super special 'cultivator' adepti powers to basically make all the materials she needed float to where she wanted them. And then she would use super condensed anemo winds to carve into and shape the materials she was using.

"Oh? She is making Ei a shrine?" The Raiden Shogun puppet noted calmly as Xianyun was clearly building a small cottage that was entirely of the Inazuma style complete with a few tasteful electro symbols for reference and to mark it as her own cottage.

And it seemed that Xianyun heard us as she called out proudly. "Indeed! One was of the opinion that you would occasionally like your own personal retreat to meditate away from the noises of the frantic mortals."

"Frantic mortals indeed," I said dryly at seeing what would have taken modern workers in my old world months probably to build had been done in what was probably days, maybe a week at most with a great amount of time dilation.

"Xianyun, how long have you been working on the house and this building?" I asked as the crane adepti gently floated down in her human form as she idly wiped her glasses.

She gave a slight hum and then she just waved a hand in nonchalance as she spoke. "Oh not too long, merely a week has passed within the Serenitea Pot since you have dropped off the materials. But One will need to drop the time dilation for a while lest the strain do damage to the spatial coordinates of the Serenitea Pot."

My mind whirled at the thought of time dilation doing damage to the spatial boundary that kept the Serenitea Pot a separate pocket dimension... But I decided to embrace ignorance as I had no idea how to manipulate those two powers!

Yup sticking to unga bunga smashing with a great sword and saber. While throwing lightning, wind, and geo rocks was the best path.

"So One has seen you now, where is this One's favored disciple? Is she looking within the house One made for you all to have as a common area?" Xianyun asked curiously.

My lips twitched as I was drawn out of my thoughts and the Raiden Shogun answered bluntly. "The rest of his harem minus the floating mascot are watching the fish swim in their ponds." 

Coughing I then said. "So Xianyun do you still need more materials? Or anything else we can do to contribute to your work?" 

There was a pause as Xianyun pushed up her glasses and made a noise of thought. "Hmm, ah very well. If you wish to save this One a great deal of time. Please acquire a dozen mattresses their frames and pillows. I will sort out the sheets and do work on the frames to make them fit the themes of the rooms."

Xianyun gave me an... Actually, odd look before she spoke with some trepidation. "One was going to do themed rooms for the entirety of your group. But One has no idea of the culture of you and Lumine due to you being... Foreign to say the least."

I had nothing I could say to that, as for one. America didn't exactly have the most concentrated culture due to it being the world's melting pot of cultures.

So I had no way to explain what America's culture was like. And it's not like I was going to ask Xianyun to build me a damned trailer or something from a trailer park.
