Cursed to Infinity Chapter 11

Once Ui Ui saw me open my door she looked to me with her soft purple eyes, and said softly. "Will you have use of me now? Or should I return to my sister?" 

I stood in the open door for a long moment and stared at Ui Ui during that time and I thought of something... And then Ui Ui's eyes widened slightly as I placed a hand over her exposed cleavage and I spoke deeply with my voice reverberating down to her very soul as I etched draconic words into her soul. {Yol Strun!}

And for a split moment I saw Ui Ui's eyes flash with fiery fire as I engraved the words of power in 'Fire, Storm' into her soul that she could use those powers offensively to offset her cursed techniques vow in not being used offensively to like teleport someone into a volcano or into space.

I then shifted my hand downwards a bit... And I saw Ui Ui blush as I gave her healthy handful-sized breast a simple squeeze and said softly. "Go ahead and show your sister what she could have in the future." 

And with that I stepped back inside my apartment and closed the door behind me and I walked in... And realized that Anya and Alyx were gone? 

So I checked my phone as I collapsed into a seat and smiled seeing Alyx being the more social and excitable of the surviving two of the once triplets sent me a message that they were going grocery shopping as feeding three people, three meals a day... Plus snacks, drinks, and desserts meant that they needed to properly stock us up.

But as I was going through my emails and text messages, I got a priority message that made me raise an eyebrow that was directly from Toji. [Yo, got a trio of fuck wit Public Safety pukes who need you to come down and say I am not forcing you to stay here.]

Knowing that Toji was my boss and to be frank the reason why I wasn't being carted off to be a slave healer or being forced to breed out new super support sorcerers I sent a quick. [Alright, on my way.] 

'Oh well I can start the hospital shift a bit later in the day.' I thought shrugging as I got up and made my way to the main office building for the Kyoto Jujutsu School and followed my memories of where Mai Zenin brought me to Toji's office.

Once I got to the office I knocked on the door with Toji's annoyed as hell voice ringing out. "Come in." 

I opened the door and as I opened the door... I stilled as my eyes met cold golden multi-ringed pupils with the woman having red hair that stared seemingly into my soul.

Not going to lie, I damn near said Yol Tor Shul in an instant as I mentally processed that fucking Makima the Control Devil was sitting on a couch across the room from me.

But my instant of panic was cut off as Toji spoke up dryly. "Come in brat, the bitch ain't got no teeth with me in here."

Makima's gaze broke with mine as she lazily looked at Toji and I did the same but couldn't help my lip from twitching as I saw that Toji was literally not lying at all as he had his Inverted Spear of Heaven blade in his hands as he sat calmly in his chair with his desk that was supposed to be in front of his chair... Being fucking embedded in othe wall of all things.

I slowly walked in knowing that Toji could kill Makima before she could do anything along with the two government stooges that were following her, but regardless I asked bluntly. "Why are we speaking with a Devil?" 

To which without even losing eye contact with Makima, Toji boredly said. "Eh she has a vested interest in keeping humanity alive so she along with a few others are tolerated within the government... Though in truth, the devils and fiends that the Government keeps on a leash like Makima here, are the government's answer to keeping Jujutsu Sorcerers in check."

And after taking a breath Toji continued. "And as for why she is here... Well, its because the government wants to make a play to snag themselves their own Special Grade support unit as although they have a few Special Grade agents and killers... They ain't got shit for healing, boosting, and support units." 

My lips twitched as Makima rested her face on her hand and I felt her inhuman eyes boring into my form as she said calmly. "Hmm, one way of putting it you could say. Though I am curious Jake Bariss. Do you wish to help more people, perhaps bring more permanent change to this world?" 

I just met her eyes and said without a moment of hesitation. "Nope. Nope. Nope!" I finished putting an X in front of my chest with my arms making her blink each time as I said nope firmly.

"I already learned that I am Devil and otherwise Spiritual Entity candy with how they seem to go after me with even enhanced animals going after me for a damned bite... I am staying here in Jujutsu Tech where I can continue to grow safely before I head out into the dangerous as hell world."

And Toji chuckled hearing my words as the older man said with humor. "Heh, thats the whole point of this school in getting people's feet into the water before letting them go into the deep end. Now, Jake, you aren't being forced to stay here are you?" He asked rhetorically.

I shook my head and said honestly. "No sir, I am being hosted here of my own free will and I am working to earn my keep at the hospital healing government agents, civilians and sorcerers in good standing." 

Turning to look away from Makima I asked Toji respectfully. "Is that all? If so, may I be excused, I do have a shift at the hospital in not long." 

But instead, it was Makima who answered as she made a noise making me look back to her as she held out a manila envelope towards me. "Jake, I apologize but the Public Safety Bureau really does need your service along with others. So with the blessing of the Diet, you as an illegal foreign national have been declared a ward of the state, and custody of your person has been handed to the Public Safety Bureau."

Even as she attempted to hand me the envelope a thin shadow zipped by and a loud thunking noise rang out as Toji flicked a pen that flew off and slammed into the envelope and pinned it into one of the surrounding walls.

And without a single hint of emotion on his face Toji said plainly. "I am going to stop you right there Devil missy. My people aren't going to be sucked into the governmental versus jujutsu clan bullshit... So you can walk out of my office or I am going to count to ten in my head at a speed I choose. And when I hit ten this blade which can kill a monster like you even with your deal with the minister will be sunk into your skull are we clear?"

Makima went silent as she and Toji shared a staring contest before she smiled and stood up and gave me a slight bow as before she stood straight and said calmly with no negative emotions emanating from her expression from Toji literally telling her, he was going to kill her.

"Very well then. Jake if you wish to see a change in scenery, the Public Safety Bureau has open arms for you, and I am sure I can offer things even Toji cannot in order to keep you content in my care." 

With that Makima left the room with the two goons not even batting an eye during the whole conversation making me wonder how mentally there they even were.
